  1. No. Been paying extra attention to Kiwi lately... I think he shouldn't be on the field.
  2. Parker was so open and Eli had a clear passing lane, its the only scenario I can think of that an NFL QB should be throwing to the player and not the spot... ...but look at replays of how Parker broke that route off, its almost like the dude has never run a slant before. With a good route and the same throw, that's an easy touchdown. That said... I don't know how Eli missed him. I don't know, maybe he released the ball before his break, but I don't think so....
  3. That method of study reveals nothing. Teams that have drafted well will be at the top of this list, but so will teams with poor front offices that overvalue their own players.
  4. I'll tell you who is long overdue to put a bunch of balls on the ground... LeSean McCoy.
  5. well sure, the QB owns every ball that leaves his hand, but if you're doing serious analysis you still have to ask why a disproportionate amount of inaccurate passes go towards Randle. Look at the INT rate, its almost twice as high when going towards Randle. He's also about a 3-4 % point drag on the passing game's completion percentage. Its not like Eli has been an All Pro when going to the other receivers either, but when the stats are so lopsided towards one player, good or bad, that sure tells us something.
  6. haha, I don't really want Dez, but the more we can do to totally fuck over Dallas the better. Would be a good time for a little friendly tampering, hehehe... put some good shit in Dez's ear and make him a total distraction to Dallas in 2015.
  7. I remember reading after the season that he was really dinged up last year, before the broken leg. Which I didn't know at the time, when I was calling for his head.
  8. he was so awful last season, but I think he's proven that was more about health than ability.
  9. Best offensive lineman this season has been Beatty, by far.
  10. eh, well Jennings missed some really, really big holes on Sunday.
  11. 40% of picks in Randle's direction... 23% of passes in Randle's direction... Eli isn't the (only) problem.
  12. love child with Angela Davis, LOL. Lynch had a good observation during the game yesterday though.... that Randle is far more consistent on in-breaking routes than on routes outside the numbers. I never thought about it before, but I think he was dead on about that, it bore itself out over and over again yesterday. And I guess thats a reason for optimism too.
  13. "Neither Here Nor There" i.e., an accurate description of Rueben Randle's route running.
  14. I think they should play the QB who they think will be the starter next season. Unless the McAdoo experiment is already over, in which case... lets Nassib it up out there.
  15. I noticed that too. But in fairness to Randle, on only one of those plays did I get the sense that he ran the wrong route. Just some bad fucking throws this week.
  16. I may be reading too much into it, but one thing that stood out to me this week is that none of the offensive skill guys have any confidence in the offensive line. Jennings in particular left a lot of yards on the field. Eli didn't seem to have much confidence in the pocket either, especially when Aldon Smith was in the game (what a difference maker that guy is). I feel like the best plays in the playbook these days involve moving the pocket. Eli isn't bad on the move, and it seems to be the only way he can get a decent passing lane these days. The defense again was not bad yesterday, but Kaepernick I think is proving to be the kind of mediocre quarterback who can be had by scheme alone.
  17. I'm fine with the skill position guys... but lets see the offensive lines. On second thought, lets not.
  18. I was just talking about playing the run. Kiwi is better at that than he is as a pass rusher. but yeah, maybe its time to put in Moore. I think I'd rather have someone out there who will make some splash plays from time to time. May give up more space to the run, but maybe he'll also penetrate and bring some drives to a halt.
  19. yeah, all around it was a classic case of wish-casting. In fairness to Randle, he's ahead of where Toomer was through three seasons, and Toomer turned into a hell of a player in season four.
  20. okay, so lets play the hypothetical here and say we cut Eli.... is it possible to get someone who is on the same level for less cap space? I'm not sure that guy exists unless the Giants just get lucky and draft a future Brady or Wilson.
  21. I'm all over him for the confidence crushing give up plays on 3rd down, but you're right. There aren't enough players on offense for this team to be good. I
