  1. The Penix hype is over. He's back to being a late 1st to 2nd round prospect. He still may end up a good pro make us eat our words, but I think his draft stock definitely fell. Not top 10. I'd take Blake Corum in the 3rd, or 4th if he falls (assuming we're letting Barkley walk). Donovan Edwards looks explosive too, maybe for 2025?
  2. I'd also love to see a Cinderella run from the Packers, just to stick it to A Aron and the Jets.
  3. So we apparently injured several of their players, including on defense....again, this makes it all worthwhile. We just need them and the Cowboys to get bounced out of the playoffs. 49ers too, but I dislike them less.
  4. And they all have DLs/Front 7's who can murder our offensive line.
  5. Injuring AJ Brown might make this game worthwhile.
  6. We did it! We went the entire season without a TD on our opening possession!
  7. The whole thing's a crapshoot. I really didn't think guys like Josh Allen would be a good QB, and thought Sam Darnold would, and boy was I wrong on both.
  8. Yep. Penix also seems like the kind of guy the Giants may regret not drafting. Watch him go off to like LV or Minnesota, who are in the market for QB's, and be great there.
  9. Bo Nix had an amazing bowl game and season in general. Maybe trade down to like #8 or #9 and take him.
  10. I go by PFF. They have us ranked #31, and the jets right in front of us at #30. Seems right. https://www.profootballnetwork.com/best-offensive-lines-nfl-rankings/
  11. I'm not seeing it with Phillips because he looks like a backup at best to me. If we're only bringing in one new OL next season to start on this line, or potentially start, that's a failed offseason and recipe for another mediocre season.
  12. I heard they went private after the loss, the mods claimed it was a mistake, only to be busted by posts showing it was deliberate and not a mistake, lol.
  13. Only issue with him is the injury history. Gotta pass the medicals.
  14. If we just change the OL coach, and don't bring in starting capable lineman at the guard and RT position, this offseason will be a failure. Bredeson, Glowinski, Pugh, Ezeudu, Tyre Phillips, etc aren't the future here.
  15. Of course. I'm fine going into next season with JMS at C, and even Neal at RT, as long as you put two FA guards next to them, plus have a plan B at least at RT in case Neal busts out or is injured again.
  16. If we don't at least bring in two guards capable of starting, better than Pugh, Bredeson, Glowinski, and Ezeudu, plus a "plan b" RT in case Neal doesn't pan out, then it'll be a failed off-season by the GM regardless of the coaching. I recommend two FA guards, another interior OL draft pick rounds 2-4, and a RT mid round draft pick or FA.
  17. He's also playing alongside possibly the worst set of guards plus RT in the league. Everyone talks about coaching but the fact that Pugh (33) who's on his last leg is our starting guard, Bredeson who's also awful is a starting guard, has an impact. It's not just coaching.
  18. I think the Giants hired some of the training staff from the Mets.
  19. Oh boy are they getting right. Should be 21-3 right now.
  20. So the Giants Twitter and Subreddit feeds right now are basically a back and forth between people who think if you draft a QB, you can't address the OL in the offseason (for some reason, both can't be addressed), versus people who think you can definitely address both a QB and OL in the offseason. I obviously think the former are morons. I continue to post there, sarcastically talking to them as if they're morons: "There's this thing in the NFL offseason called free agency. Each year, a number of players in the NFL have their contracts expire and they're free to sign with other teams. Also, the NFL draft consists of seven rounds, not just one. Additionally, there's also this thing called trades; two or more teams can mutually come to terms to exchange players and/or draft picks."
  21. Remember last week when some insane giant fans thought we were going to make the playoffs this year? That was hilarious. The Giants always have one game per year where they just say "Ah fuck it, we're not playing hard today." And today was that day, led by the OL especially.
  22. Would be nice if the WRs could catch
