I'm surprised to many were against it. I thought it was a clear cut situation of "Time to man up" for MacAttack and the team. Sure no points would of been a swing of momentum but I know I wasnt all that afraid of Dalton doing anything with it.

It was a well executed play and designed perfectly. Using OBJ to occupy an entire side of the secondary, allowing Shep to get one on one with a LB. Maybe MacAttack actually learned something in GB.

I agree with this. Long developing RB screens are starting to die out in the NFL in general, for a screen to work you need a guard/tackle combo who can keep up and run with NFL LBs With more and more outside LBs/DEs coming out of college who can double on a track team it's getting harder for OL to block on plays that call for them to pull/block outside the tackle box. Most of the time the LB has beaten them there. Snee and Diehl could run with LBs, both were athletic enough to do so, we don't have the lineman on the team to do so.

Yeah just goes to show we can all be armchair GMs who scream and moan when JR does/doesnt do something, when it's like what do we really know.

When JR shelled out big $$$ for this guy I was worried, everything I read/seen/heard about him was that he could be a top 10 corner in the NFL one play, and then give up the next. Rams were happy to be rid of the guy after he was beaten like a drum multiple times leading to last minute game changing score, some Rams forum had stats showing he was the most burnt corner leading to game winning score the past couple of years, but maybe they were still pissy about having their team move. I didn't think he would be starting and that Apple would surpass him, and it would just be another FA blunder by the Gints, glad I aint no GM. This guy has really turned it around and plays hard every single play, shutting down some big time WRs, and we have the best combo in the NFL for doing so in DRC/JJ Glad the pieces are coming together for JR, hopefully he keeps getting these guys in FA, and glad the Jackrabbit has proven to be worth every penny. Might be a new jersey hanging in my closet soon.

Eli did miss a few sure fire and easy throws. But that's always been Eli and a 4 TD day is pretty uncommon.

I dont understand peoples expectations for this season though. Heck during the pre-season I think everyone here was screaming about how the Gints would be lucky to win more than 3 games. Are people expecting that it's playoffs or bust for MacAttack and the team this year?

Coughlin's lingering influence on the team is making MacAttack call shotgun run plays, and forcing the rookies to play injured.

I've had a buddy experience the same type of situation. Ex-GF got pissy after he moved on from her from what he claims, she called the cops and filed a complaint about him roughing her up a few days after they broke up pretty badly, pushing her down stairs and whatever else. However he was out of town the day because of a family member being sick, she just didnt know he left on a plane suddenly that morning, and had physical proof of not being in town. The problem was even with the proof, his name was still dragged through the dirt and he said most of the cops treated him like they caught him red handed standing over her with a bloody fist. A lot of hate came in from facebook and phonecalls as well, even some of his family as well. Even after it was known she was lying about the whole thing he said he would still get comments like "Oh she's probably just to afraid that you'll kill her if she talks", etc. Some bitches be crazy yo.

I respect the 'Skins always thought it was a "classy" rivalry, they have just been run into the ground by an idiot owner. I dislike the Cowboys because they have always been a relevant team, and their fans are probably some of the biggest cock riding fair weather homers in the history of any sports organization, but respect the heck out of the history of the organization, I mean Tom Laundry was the godfather to this game. I hate the Eagles though simply because they have scorned the Gints the most with ass backwards last minutes wins, not to mention Reid basically fucked the Giants every two weeks of the season that he was coaching the Eagles. I cant stand the Gints losing to the Eagles because it's the only thing their fans can hang their hats on "HURR DURR WE BEAT YOU GUYZZZZ HURRPA DURPA DURR" But yeah fuck the Redskins, fuck the Cowboys, and take the Eagles empty trophy case, turn it sideways and stick it up their candy asses.

As bad as I think the Gints want to give away games, I don't know how much easier it would of been for the Bucs to win that game. Some franchises are just destined to always be horrible. Browns, Bucs, Lions, whichever.

I don't think the Giants will overpay for Pugh, he'll be givin a fair contract. He's one of the only building blocks on the line, need to keep someone, I'd rather let Flowers walk and keep Pugh/Richburg.
