  1. Atleast last year it was only 13-7 going into half. See everyone when the draft rolls around.
  2. I like how more players are shown in the public light as friends outside the game, I hated the whole idea that "if you play for xyz team you have to hate this team and their players".
  3. Worst run defense in the league? Goes out and signs the best run defender in the NFL. JR dun did gud on dis one.
  4. I'm on the record saying that every single team cheats in some way, the Gints are no exception.
  5. That's the thing, I dont care about the on field/off field stuff, the simple fact remains we are watching the greatest QB/Coach combo of all time in the NFL. Belichick doesnt even need to video tape anything, the guy out coaches and out plans 99.9% of the coaches in the NFL, the only one he hasnt seemed to out coach was Coughlin. He gets it done without a roster full of pro bowl players and has no problem trading away starting talent for players/picks that he uses to fit his team. Brady might be a personality but he makes every throw needed to win the game and just makes it look easy with at most times a pretty sub par cast around him. I mean they are headed to their ninth SB appearance, before Bill the Pats were almost as nonexistent as the Jets.
  6. I want the Pats to win it simply because the NFL has never seen such a dominate franchise over such a long period. Plus it would be a big middle finger to all the NFL/owners who went apeshit fine happy over the whole film/deflategate thing.
  7. Not defending the guy or anything but wasnt it one of those "I was raised this way by my father" type of things as well. It's not right by any means, just that it was something in the Peterson household.
  8. See I agree with this, if you have a player who can score for any position on the field use him where you can when your team needs it. OBJ can blow his knee out just by running a simple route, no need to play it safe when your team as Lone Wolf said "needs a spark"
  9. Did they? Fuck outside of the Gints I havent kept up much with the rest of the league.
  10. Oh and fun fact, there is a large group of people who believe that the NFL is now just the WWE. Games are scripted, players are paid, etc, etc. After the KC loss I was browsing their forums for the fuck of it, and surprisingly there is a massive amount of those type of people. This picture would be great ammo for them.
  11. McKenzie was a big tackle who made it into FA. Isnt Armstead a FA? He's probably a top 10 tackle. Glenn cant be given the tag again so he has to hit the market, so he will cash in big.
  12. Division doesnt mean much when you consistently win 12 games a season. The Giants in any other division would of still missed the playoffs those four years with the records they produced.
  13. I think my biggest complaint was that regardless of the opponent the game plan/design was the same thing week in and week out. I understand the team has some glaring holes on offence but there are playoffs teams with just as many holes as the Gints, Packers/Steelers, hell even the Patriots have a horribly average Oline and mediocre WR core. I guess what I'm trying to say is that for an "Genius offensive guru" like MacAttack you would think he would have a different plan of attack or ways of trying to hide these weaknesses depending on the opponent that week. However each week it was the exact same game plan and playcalling, he never tried anything new to try to find a spark on that side of the ball. I've never seen an entire game design revolve around "Throw a 5 yard slant to OBJ and hope he breaks it for 60 yards" and it was the same thing week after week after week.
  14. As much as I was happy with the Giants season, I hope one day they can become a team like the Pats/Steelers/Packers who end up going to the playoffs year after year like it's an automatic thing.
  15. The playoffs this year has really shown an ever increasing gap in talent of the good teams compared to the bad ones.
  16. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000773179/article/chargers-announce-decision-to-relocate-to-los-angeles So the Rams, Chargers, and probably the Raiders all in one market, good going NFL, fan attendance should top 10k at each game.
  17. People just be mad salty about the loss yo, so they grasping for straws on why the gints lost. Didn't one of our guys go to Vegas before the super bowl?
  18. You missed my point. Unless we get a real OC we might as well not bother with any other WR.
  19. Eli showed up and ready to win the game. Feel bad for the guy, he took flak and played like shit a majority of the year, and the game that it matters he showed up in playoff form.
  20. Would be a waste, MacAttack would just keep giving him three yard slants.
  21. Trade/Cut/Release/Bench OBJ "The boat" caused the loss Eli is done Spags would of won the game as HC We should of tanked the season for a better pick This season is a failure All gems of the GMB, almost makes me wonder why I left.
  22. Hopefully a LT that actually knows how to play the position instead of just being "strong and mean"
