  1. I said it before, you cant teach mean and stupid.
  2. If the Gints roll into GB and lose a tough game but played hard, it would suck but I'd still be happy with how the season went. I just hope it isnt Carolina playoff bad if they lose. In all honesty though the entire game in my mind comes down to Eli and which version of him shows up. Playoff Eli shows up and they win the game and I don't think it's a contest. Regular season Eli shows up and they have a very very good chance of losing the game.
  3. Like I've said before, no one and I mean absolutely no one in the NFL/Media even had the Gints winning more than three games after the pre-season performance. I honestly thought it would be two or three more seasons before the Gints sniffed the playoffs. Everything after week 11 has been an absolute bonus for me and the outcome of the playoffs have no indication for the success of this season, because as it stands it's been a very successful one which I cant see any fan feeling bad about. Would be nice if they ended the season with a win though.
  4. The one where the Beiber fervor is there as well. I dunno maybe OBJ and Cruz like the man meat, I'm not one to judge, would make the GD section go wild though.
  5. This guy has the mindset that he's bigger than the game. Trying to reinvent the way someone builds a winning team. He will get a job with the Bills or the Rams and tank the franchises even further into mediocrity, and then retire from the NFL.
  6. This just in, millionaire football players have lives outside of the game. News at 11, Jerome Bettis is from Detroit where he won a Superbowl.
  7. Because all thoughout the year OBJ has shown he's a headcase. People really need to get off the kids back and stop believing in all the stuff the media spews. He didnt "act out" against Norman the first game as a 'Skin, and he wont do anything this.
  8. If the Bills knew what was good for them they would of brought him in the hour after firing Rex. Good for Coughlin though, hope he coaches again.
  9. I think sitting him would piss OBJ off more and probably cause more shit then letting him play. The guy wants to win and play, he's not going to miss the chance to embarrass Norman again. Besides OBJ has taken a lot of shit this year from other teams, even as far as shoving and late hits after the play and he's been able to keep his head.
  10. I hope like Coughlin they play lights out. After the shit fest in Philly the team needs a confidence boost going into the paloofs.
  11. Pats are probably gonna win it just as a "Fuck you" to the NFL.
  12. Didnt think it would be this soon but the Gints are back in the playoffs. Lets hope playoff Eli shows up and not regular season Eli.
  13. We've seen Eli play better under worse pressure. He isnt himself this year and it clearly shows. Right now the entire offense is Odell, you cant rely on how Eli has been playing to complete a five yard pass.
  14. Still doesnt mean you throw to a guy who has two defenders covering him.
  15. I hope one of these things happens. Cause I don't think the Gints win in DC.
  16. The problem was the defense couldnt stop a 3rd and 20 and the offense couldnt pick up a 3rd and 1 last year. Only one of these problems have been fixed this year and it isnt the offense. I don't think MacAttack is a better decision maker by any means, and Coughlin would have a similar or equal record if he was still coaching this team. If anyone deserves praise for the team where it is now it's Spags, he's defense has been able to win games and finish them when last year it was a complete 180. MacAttacks "success" has been on the fact that Odell can take a five yard slant and turn it into a 60+ yard TD, he's still made horrible play calling inside the last 4 minutes of the game in terms of giving the opponent more time to work with. I mean the last Dallas game they got the ball back what? 4 times in the last five minutes.
  17. I honestly dont see how he isnt an MVP candiaite. Without him this team would be 3-11. I never seen an entire offense revolve around "Throw a slant to the guy and hope he takes it 60+ yards"
  18. Yeah I'm not giving up on Flowers or the Oline. I mean before 2005 no one would expect the Oline to become the best in the league (coached by Flaherty) but all it took was the addition of McKenzie and keeping the core of Snee/Diehl/Ohara together. I have total faith in Pugh/Richburg, I think they are starters in the NFL and damn good football players. Flowers can get there but so far I'm not impressed for a top 10 draft pick, and I'm willing to give rookies their contract time to prove themselves. I just never was a Flowers fan, everything I read was about how little he knew of technique and it's showing, unfortunately that falls on coaching as well, the kid just hasnt been taught how to play a LT in the NFL yet.
  19. Flaherty was released with the transition from Coughlin to MacAttack but it was no secret Flowers didnt like the guy or his coaching style. MacAttack hired our current Oline coach Solari? and well you can see the work he's doing on the field every week. All for nothing but you don't release a guy who coaches some of the best lineman the Giants have ever had just for the "lulz I'm a new coach"
  20. The problem is he literally got one of the best Oline coaches in the league fired because "he didnt like his coaching style" The same guy who coached up one of the best Oline units the Gints have ever had in their history. Kid is a fucking mess from all forms of technique, foot positioning and even how he engages defenders, shit that's taught in highschool. He's been told his entire playing career just to go out and man handle people since he outsized everyone, now that he's playing with the big boys he has no advantage anymore, and no technique to rely on.
  21. Yeah that's normally how it works. But for some reason MacAttack doesnt have hand gestures for his plays as stated in the article.
  22. I don't think the Gints should give up on him, I just feel like they should have someone to replace him until he learns how to play the fucking position. I mean we fans always give up on plays after a couple seasons. Then again I was the guy who always wanted to give Moss one more year.....
  23. The thing I find funny about that criticism is every single draft "expert" out there talked about how Goff isnt "ready" and he'll have to sit behind someone a few years before he gets it all. Meanwhile post draft no one understood why Fisher didnt want to throw the kid into the fire.
  24. Dak and Wentz both scare me. Wentz is having his ups and downs but he'll get better and Dak looks like a four year pro even when pressure gets to him.
