  1. When you are such a bad QB that a team gives away a second round pick just so another team can pay for you. lol Great move by the Browns though, they pick up basically another rookie starter and don't really dent their overall cap.
  2. So does this basically confirm that JRs draft strategy is gonna be OL in rounds one to six? Guess when you have a DE eating up half of your cap you cant really go out and get what you want.
  3. I'm still surprised he never got a chance with a team in the NFL.
  4. Yeah he's a Billy guy. With them trading for the TE from the Colts they don't need to worry about bringing back Bennett. Must be nice to have a coach/GM who can basically replace key players with ease like it's no big deal. I wouldn't be surprised the day that Brady hangs them up they still roll on with whoever they get behind the wheel.
  5. I didnt think the chances were great going into the GB game, but I thought playoff Eli would carry the team. Between the lack of a run game, the mental errors, and the defensive collapse in the second quarter, it was to much to overcome. The team has flaws and isnt as strong as either SB winning teams (IMO) but they can still get there, just have to plug a few of these holes. Marshall helps. Just wish the Gints had an extra 16 million to throw around
  6. Wasnt it one of Eli's worst seasons in the past 5 or 6 years? Let's be honest the Oline wasnt great, but Eli played like a rookie this year, the only time you can say he showed up was for the playoffs....when the rest of the team took a day off lol
  7. I really hope he goes to a team like Denver and wins a SB. Just so I can see Jurriahs face.
  8. Shepard too as I see it. Let's not forget that Shep had a pretty solid rookie year and he's only going to get better. I wanted the guy in the draft and he's gonna be starting on the outside sooner rather than later.
  9. I think this shows the Gints are going "all in" in the next season or two. They have a defense which they are paying big money for and this FA/Draft is gonna be all O moves. They don't have much left in the tank (if JPP signs the tag that is) for any big named Oline FA moves since Wagner is about to set the tone for the rest of FA. I can see the Gints walking out of the draft with two Oline and a TE in the first three picks. Throw the rookies wherever they fit on the line and start the TE day one. All in all a good move, he's better then Cruz, wish he was abit cheaper but he got a end of the career type of contract.
  10. I don't see why. The guy has probably been the hardest working WR in the NFL since the position change.
  11. Some talk that he isnt a first round RB, but if a team takes the chance to convert him to a WR he would easily be a top 20 pick there.
  12. Webb reminds me of a Brock OverpaidWilder and Chad Pennington. He can hit anyone inside the 10 but anything outside of the 15 it's a fucking guess if it's gonna hit the ground, sail, or end up in the DBs hands. Then again I guess that's like Eli now so nothing new LOL
  13. I only watched the O guys combine drills. QBs are shockingly fast now a days, guess running those read type offences in college, I wouldn't mind the Gints drafting one of these second/third round guys like Nathan Peterman who seems like MacAttack would bust a nut over. OL I don't know bunch of fat guys running around the field, dont think they honestly need to be at the combine, just watch their game film. WRs - obviously Ross setting the new record is the big story, his stock rose greatly with the performance he turned in. There is a lot of talent here and the Gints could easily get a starting WR across from OBJ in the first two rounds. I like that Chad Hensen(?) seems to be moving up in into the day two rounds. HBs - all looked the same to me, I will say that Mccaffyrey's kid looked impressive (baring his pitaful performance on the bench press) and I can see a team converting him to WR instead of having him play HB in the NFL. TEs - from what I hear there are only a handful of "starting TEs" in this years draft, Gints might have to grab one in round one or else have to face getting someone in FA or hoping a late round pick develops. Might be a year for the Gints to finally look at TE in the first, with the possibility of a QB/WR in the second round.
  14. If JPP signs his tag, 7.5 million for Marshall will be half of the remaining cap.
  15. The Gints have always had a secretly gay player. It was Strahan, now it's OBJ.
  16. It's funny I think Vernon is by far the superior DE on the team in the run and pass. I've never seen a DE with the instinct against the run like Vernon since Strahan. But for 17+ million for a single season for a run stopping monster I'd let him walk.
  17. Maybe if he comes in cheap, I'd take a look at him.
  18. Vikings don't pick up his option. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000788296/article/vikings-wont-pick-up-adrian-petersons-2017-option
  19. So the good news is some team CAN sign JPP away without giving up two first round picks. PLEASE let some team be that dumb and take his contract off our hands.
  20. Oh then there's this. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/02/28/despite-cost-being-the-same-giants-opt-not-to-use-exclusive-tag-on-jpp/
  21. I'm looking forward to him putting the Gints in cap hell while he disappears in the later part of the season when it matters most.
