  1. Not to mention the Oline was actually getting push in this game, hell Jennings was a yard away from picking up the first down.
  2. Nope Giants won a game that they would of lost 10 times out of 10 last season. You have no idea how high I can fly.
  3. Olive-tar? Anyways he was an absolute monster in the run game today, he was pushing Smith/Witten whoever out of the way like they were kids. He also free'd up JPP to do his own thing. So far I think he's worth the money.
  4. September 11th 2016. Rushing ATT YDS TD LG R. Jennings 18 75 0 17 S. Vereen 6 38 0 10 September 20th 2015 Rushing ATT YDS TD LG A. Williams 6 43 0 35 E. Manning 2 23 0 18 S. Vereen 6 19 0 12 R. Jennings 9 12 0 6
  5. FUck I wont lie the moment Dak got it back all I seen was Witten catching it and doing his slow waddle down the field to the 20 yard line for an easy chip shot.
  6. I think that's why I'm so happy. Normally we watch the Giants fuck the pooch against the 'boys. Nice to see it another way this time. 1-0. 15 more wins to go.
  7. He could of gotten out around the 40-43, for some reason he cut back INTO the field. Would of been a 56-60 yarder and everyone here was already calling for Bailey to "Boom it"
  8. They needed the 38. Williams went down at the 40 lol
  9. I think firing Green when he had one losing season was the downfall for the team at the time, and hiring a nobody in Tice. Kinda like what San Fran is going through by firing one half of the wonder twins after bringing a team led by the mighty Kap to the SB.
  10. The game goes one of two ways; 1) Spags defense goes crazy and Dak is sacked 5+ times and their offense never gets started, Giants 27-14. 2) Spags blitz happy scheme is quickly adjusted for by quick dump passes to Witten and Elliot, Spags still refuses to adjust a single element of his gameplan, Dak is able to dink and dunk down the field for another 45 second, 80 yard TD drive winning the game for the 'Boys 21-20
  11. Also why are people still so butthurt over Sitton? The guy wanted to go to Chicago.
  12. I think they honestly have to lock Odell up this coming offseason, the guy is going to be asking for 20+ million a year and as the best WR in the NFL, he should get it. Eli and Odell are going to be eating up 45+ million in cap space the next few years.
  13. Yep. Which is why I'm kind of optimistic about this season, as much as I think it will end 9-7, with this defense I can see 11-5. I mean look at Denver, the team had no pass protection and no run game, a hobbled Manning and Matt Flynn 2. Their defense carried their team to the SB, I'm thinking the Giant's can get to that point.
  14. Start him now until the Oline is fixed. And bench OBJ, Vernon, Apple until we are set up for a winning season. In fact unless JR is an absolute idiot he would place all the starters on IR this season since it's already a wash.
  15. Oh and I agree it's frustrating watching Eli's "prime years" be wasted on 8-8 seasons. I have hope that this defense will finally be back to an NFL level heck I think it will finish in the top 10 this year, but I do agree there are places at which the team is lacking due to drafted players not developing quick enough/FA management and it's showing on the offensive line.
  16. This is a Giants.com forum level of topic. Oh gawd it's starting to spill over.
  17. I just think people horribly underestimate the business of trying to pick up playing in FA. I mean we cant sit here and say "The Giants didnt do anything to land Sitton" when for all they know they were trying to trade/bring him in for a talk, it's far fetched to think they "sat on their hands" It wasnt even 12 hours later that Sitton signed with the Bears, he didnt even entertain any other offer or meeting with another team in the NFL.
  18. The thing is though, when you know no one else in the NFL is making an offer on a player, why fork over draft picks and what not when he's just going to get cut? "Something over nothing" only works when the team wants what you are offering, my guess is they wanted a fourth round pick maybe higher, no one including the Giants were willing to do that. Jones did the same thing waiting out Elway for Sanchez. Surprisingly the Changers WANTED Williams and were hoping he would fall through with cuts.
  19. Not since the Hefty Lefty days, I think.
  20. I'm surprised there are 5 RBs on the team. I thought for sure a RB/LB would of been cut to make room for OL/TE help.
  21. Yeah I think people forgot that players have the final say who they end up signing with.
  22. It's the 53 to avoid any penalty from the NFL. I'm sure a player or two will be different come the game vs Dallas.
