Chuck Wagon
No way this doesn't comeback to bite us on the ass for the next 4 to 5 seasons. https://heavy.com/sports/philadelphia-eagles/saquon-barkley-sends-5-word-message-after-eagles-signing/ C. wagon

But maybe not playing 8 games on the garbage turf at Metlife and on "realish" natural turf at The Linc might save some wear and tear....I am sure playing behind best rated O line in the NFL and still top 5 after Kelce's retirement is gonna help with that too. In fact, it might make him a bigger, stronger version of what Christian McCaffery became after he escaped the Panthers. I am kinda happy for him as he has always been nothing but class and heart ....but him going to a divisional rival is bad karma for the gmen in my book. C. boohyah
He's not washed. If he took what we offered last year, he's here. He got a decent offer from us. Running backs so far are averaging 8. Philly overpaid because they have more cap and they are in win mode now.

Wagon And that’s the teams who should be paying for premium rbs—teams that think they are a move or two away like sf and phi. It’s the teams who should be drafting them too. happy he got rewarded for his ability, and he deserves it, but I didn’t want to pay it.

Exactly this... we have too many holes and needs to be overpaying a RB. Now to unload DJ next year. He is dead to me now while he is with with Filthies... Wagon The 29th ranked OL or 32nd ranked OL or whatever level of crap the Giants had, had nothing to do with Barkley getting caught from behind every time he got behind the defense. He's lost two steps. I don't think he's washed, but he's not the same guy the Giants drafted in 2018.

Agreed, he has 10 years of PSU and NYG carries on that body with the last six being behind C minus to D minus lines. Even with all that wear, I still think he is more than serviceable and will benefit only having to carry the ball 200 times a season behind a great line rather than 250 times behind a crap line. Mostly I hate he is going to do that in the NFC east and particularly for the eagles. C. Wagon
CrazedDogs
I was hoping hard he'd go to Houston so I could keep on routing for the guy. Oh well.

Its like when Bavaro ended up in Philly. C. Wagon
