What the fuck?? Didn't they get the message to lose out?

But i am happy that eli, even with him playing terribly, that he will get a nice sendoff on a win at home.

Yeah the broadcasters were saying Eli should keep playing....   hell no!   Get DJ some more time under center and let Eli walk out with a home win

The idea is the Jones has the same injury that Barkley is still recovering from.

You gotta keep in mind Eli is gone this year regardless of retirement or he goes to another team.

We want Jones to be the QB for the next 15.

If there's the slightest chance his ankle could get reinjured this year then don't even bother.

It’s an ankle there is always a chance it gets injured.      Obviously if he’s in a boot still on Sunday you sit him, but if the dr says he’s good, get him out there

But that's what happened with Barkley and he was obviously affected by it weeks after.

Only now is he starting to look the same.

Why risk it for the last two weeks of the year?

Why have him sit on the sidelines and not grow as a QB for 2 weeks?    Every snap for a rookie QB is a learning experience.

I'd make the case that he stands to learn more if he's still dinged and he's playing without his mobility.

Playing without his mobility risks exposing him to harm... We're not trying to have an RG3 situation on our hands.
