The Giants' pre-practice injury report included three new additions: WR Mario Manningham, DT Rocky Bernard and LB Keith Bulluck

Manningham has a concussion, which could be a concern if it forces him to sit out Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears. Bernard has a back injury, while Bulluck has a toe injury.

The other players on the injury report are T Will Beatty (foot), LB Chase Blackburn (knee), LB Phillip Dillard (hamstring) and C Shaun O'Hara (Ankle/Achilles).

More to come after Tom Coughlin's news conference. ...

Hate to be debbie downer.... but where the F is that tall dude Barden??? don't tell me he's another S.Moss.... wasting bench space..

Hard to get on the field when Super Mario, Smith and Nicks are in front of you.

Cruz isnt a sure lock to play this game, we may see Barden or whoever the Giants decide to go with.

as much as i like Cruz to shine because he's a journey men. but let's hope they put in that Barden guy when it comes to the endzone..

have Gillfart every try putting Barden, a 6'6 guy along BJ near the endzone?.. it'll mindfuck the defense. you got a guy that can jump to at least 12 foot high for the ball and another dude that can(or used to) pound the ball in....

You Barden lovers are mesmerized by his size but it was clear in training camp that he's a long way from being ready to contribute and in fact, might never be. The fact that Cruz, in his first camp, passed him so quickly illustrates the point. If Hixon hadn't been hurt, odds are, Barden would have been cut. There are no tape measures or stop watches in an NFL game. He's thisclose to officially being a failed experiment.

Cruz proved he's more than a journeyman

He was the steal of the draft, or was he a free agent.....for the entire NFL

anyway the boy has unlimited potential............he feels open space, and has hands of glue and feet of Zeus

:LMAO:

Too bad he can not return kicks.... but with the blocking the ST puts out there I doubt even Zeus would average more then 15 yards a kick.
