gateb Posted January 17, 2009 Share Posted January 17, 2009 I loved Spags but in November when it was clear our front 4 wasn't going to be able to generate that good of a rush it was up to him to design schemes to get to the QB. And we never really did. I'm not going to say we're not going to miss a beat with him but if we take someone from within the blow won't be too bad. That's why it's so important that we don't make a secondaries coach the new DC. Dom Capers sucks. Johnnie Lynn sucked. Tim Lewis fucking SUCKED. We need a LB coach as DC... The problem with him, I could see the team being led by the SS again with him and Tom...or "Dom and Tom" if you will. I wouldn't mind Capers, but I want someone who is familiar with the current system before Spags starts plucking them.
