BlueInCanada
Eli and Peyton are both different QBs, Peyton should be allowed to get on his O-Lines ass from time to time. I mean your on of the greatest to play the game, you would expect your team to play up to the high level of play they can. I bet the next series both sides forgot about what even happened on the side line. I'm glad Eli isnt the type to get on someones case and scream at them, I think Eli has a different way of handling poor play of the team around him. fringe
i don't understand your point- peyton won the big one too. regardless, there's nothing wrong with what he did- football's an emotional game.

That's typical in sports or any high pressure situation for that matter. I remember going off on my teammates in a pick up basketball game for not playing seriously. So I can totally understand Peyton's outburst.. given that it's forgotten seconds later.
feefifoefum
i dont think the general response in NY would be that great if Eli did that to his oline. To the contrary, he did what alot of people have wanted Eli to do for awhile now. Peyton seemed to be reacting to the lineman's griping about playcalling. The first thing he says is "Quit calling the plays!" That's Peyton's job, and he was letting the lineman know their job. He stood up to a whining teammate, something alot of people have been looking for Eli to do to Shockey and Burress when they start their crap. But, as you said, it's moot... boohyah
I bet that despite that, the Peyton appreciates Jeff Saturday overall. That guy is a great lineman and leader.

Word is this is his last year. Anyone else notice Peyton spit on himself at the 15 second mark?
Virginia Giant
Peyton did what he was supposed to do. When lineman start bitching about the playcalling, thats when problems start. i thought #78 was MUCH more out of line. And like 86er said, thats something that would give a lot of Giants fans a chubby if it were Eli.
