  1. The Giants are clearly over performing expectations, but I think at 6-1 you have to think about the playoffs and what we need to get there. Especially considering the best team in the conference is in our division so we’re probably playing for a wild card spot. Do we make a move for a receiver at the trade deadline? It seems silly to think about while trying to rebuild for the future, but how do you do nothing with a 6-1 start. Or after Sunday potentially 7-1, but even 6-2 would be playoff contenders.
  2. But could you imagine the fog and sweat that would be on those things? Grass, dirt, etc. they’d be taking time between every play to clean them. I think it’sa good idea but it would come with hassles
  3. Another thing to consider is if we're seeing an offensive shift in the NFL? Herc mentioned it earlier, there is a focus on not being burned over the top. After years of a passing first league, maybe there is going to be a shift to running the ball more, or screens / short passes.
  4. I saw it somewhere else. But who in their right mind would trade for him? A speed / quickness guy who has played a handful of snaps due to 2 injured legs? I mean maybe a team building for next year and the years after would throw a late rd pick at him, but unless he is actively burning his bridge with the team / coaches, we may as well keep him and hope for future production.
  5. Next 4 games are incredibly winnable. I figure we'll go 2-2 because you can't expect 2nd half domination every week. This is still a team that is overperforming, and it is amazing to watch, but the Giants are just as likely to win the next 4 as lose them right now. Would like to see a 4 quarter whistle to whistle game and win by 10 or more in a couple of these. But you know, never know what Jags team shows up, the Seahawks are a lot like us. Be an interesting stretch.
  6. Almost nothing like Richie James
  7. Part of me is ready to say OBJ has been humbled and hopefully has grown and we should bring him back. The other part of me says no way do I want that guy messing with this team's chemistry.
  8. I think Adams legit didn't see him and reacted fairly normally in a situation where he wouldn't expect to have someone appear directly in his space. Given the context of the fan that ran on the field the other night and his no doubt bad mood, I'm pretty easily giving him a pass. Unfortunate, but not his fault. Don't know if the guy was embellishing, but he certainly is the one that found himself cutting off a much bigger guy. That he is trying to get paid out of it does make me think it isn't impossible he played it up. He was a freelance guy right? Maybe not experienced at what he was doing, probably is a rule about being in front of the tunnel in the moments at the end of a game.
  9. Not so fast. https://www.totalprosports.com/2022/10/11/davante-adams-push-cameraman-new-angle-video/?fbclid=IwAR2PSminSnNLmZ4y6ehNUJw8tt7xfXYvhCareBkirCERacP4sAIy-w21hZ8
  10. That was a different Daniel Jones. His throws were accurate, he made good decisions, went through his reads. Even looked like he had pocket awareness. He’s always been tough and selfless, but Sunday he liked posed and confident and skilled. keeping it all in perspective, but the rest of this year could get interesting
  11. The fucking announcer openly rooting for the Giants because how determined to win they were. Like starting in the 2nd quarter even. I can’t remember who it was but dude was just openly cheering for them.
  12. There were a couple that I remember him being a step away. Overall there was not much pressure from the d.
  13. This makes the Giants 3-0 in London, right?
  14. 4-1 with no starting WRs, practice squad DBs, and the one they lost they were in the whole time. I am loving this team and this coaching staff.
  15. He is still a huge question mark, but today he was a fucking baller baby. You wouldn't confuse him for Rodgers, but his determinination to extend drives and win that game. If he is THAT qb the rest of the year, the not flashy stats but mistake free and confident guy that is putting bullets into guys' chest. He is earning himself something man. He missed one throw that I can rmemeber, Slayton across the middoe that probably goes for 6, but that was as much on Slayton not looking for the ball yet.
  16. But so many guys made plays, the important plays to extend drives. Slayton, Bellinger, James all key contributors. On D, they did what they needed to do.
  17. Man, that was a fucking fun game to watch. The entire team just refusing to concede to a better team and DJ and Saquon refusing to lose. The toughness and fire to win was on full display. I am totally reversing my opinion of DJ, that dude looked like a different guy, totally different. Confident in his throws, good decision making, going through reads, willing to take a hit but deliver a throw. Not flashy, but high quality play. If he can bring that every game... The most fun Giants game to watch in years dude.
  18. If I am Shoen, I'm talking extension with Saquon right now. Like I said last week, so we overpay for the position during the rebuild. When the rest of the team catches up, he is a difference maker than can win super bowls. He is my favorite player on the team and he is face of the franchise material. Even when we're bad he can keep the team respectable, as he has done this year. If they can get a mid first rd pick, ok entertain it. But if he ends up getting traded for anything less I will personally beat Shoen et all to a pulp.
  19. But wonder why they didn't let DJ try to play through it? Let him prove his toughness. If it's a sprain he probably isn't hurting it more than it already was, let the adrenaline carry him through the day and see if his arm can win a game.
  20. Hard to tell with it blurred out, but anyone know what's in that approximate 10" space between his hand and body?
  21. And not for nothing, we got some calls tonight from the refs. Don't mean to bitch too much, I love whjat I am seeing overall. The team is playing ball, something that wasn't there last year. Just dissappointed to lose this one.
  22. Gues it was closer than I thought. Just seems like the cowboys had their way with us.
  23. Yeah we all love Shep. I don't know what's going on with Golladay, clearly the lack of plahing time is in his head. Going into this season, I thought we had a glut of receivers. Where is Slayton in all this? I assume Dabol is seeing what he's got on the team, but there is no deep ball recieveers out there. Gollady plays a handful of snaps, I forgot Slayton was on the twam. We run slot recievers out there at every position when the top two of those is injured. I do think this team is playing with spirit and heart that has been missing. Dabaol is the right coach and I hope Shoen is the right GM, but damn other than Barkley and Gano, there was nothing going on tonight. I weatched every play and I can't figure out how this was a 7 point game. I shouldn't have drank so much, fuck. It would have been nice to win this game. I talk too much shit at work for the Giants to lose games.
