  1. Been stealing games and watching on my tablet for a few years now. I might actually pay for this.
  2. That’s the issue. yeah it’s hard to judge a guy on his third hc, fourth oc, no receivers etc. but I also think it’s safe to say he’sa game manager at best. He’s had the game in his hands and I don’t think we’ve seen him take over with his arm. He’s got the arm talent and the leg talent. But does he have the it factor? Not sure. But unless we’re looking to trade a lot of draft capital to move up we’re not taking a qb this year. So fix the team around him and let him spend a year or two proving what he can do.
  3. That was a career defining performance. Seemed like he was wherever the action was all game.
  4. If OBJ was signing with the Giants, it'd be done by now. They would need him for this Commanders game.
  5. Hampton was probably my first favorite Giant. I came along during the super bowl against the bills as a 12 year old kid watching really his first NFL game, so I missed much of the LT / Simms greatness era. But Hampton was the first guy I kind of attached to, him and Jumbo.
  6. I mean, how about Plaxico Burress. I love the guy, but also hate him. Giants are 11-1, scoring 30 points / game and he shoots himself. Giants score 20 points per game and lose 4 of the final 5 games, including the playoff game against the eagles. Very likely back to back super bowl wins if he doesn't shoot himself.
  7. Dude got drunk on the airport and didn’t want to leave the plane. Not like he was causing trouble. I always get shitfaced at the airport.
  8. Have to figure for giants it became about driving up the price for the cowboys. Pretty clear we’re more than obj away from a real run and signing him long term likely becomes a problem for us during a rebuild.
  9. From what I remember of the scouting reports around the draft was he got by ion college off a great first step and would have to develop true pass rushing moves at the next level. He'll develop. He was a major disruption against the Cowboys, he'll add a move to his arsenal and learn how to use them with each other.
  10. Webster is a great choice. Have to also mention Tiki. His last 5 seasons were unbelievable. Averaged over 2,000 yards from scrimmage.
  11. Who’s the guy you most often just reminisce about, or randomly think of how great they were. pretty regularly I remember Jeremy Shockey. How great was that guy? Shame how it all unfolded, but he was such a dominant player.
  12. Have to wonder if there will ever be lawsuits for stunted or shortened careers due to the playing surface issues.
  13. dude was fractions of a second from multiple sacks yesterday and forced multiple bad throws.
  14. That would be a god deal while they figure out how long the rebuild is going to take and work on a longer term deal.
  15. I didn’t see that necessarily but they had like 8 linemen and he reported eligible at least once
  16. It’ll be interesting. Glad they want to resign but sounds like Saquon knows his worth and giants were testing the waters with a low offer.
  17. Nice opening drive focusing on the run game and play action. Perfectly executed.
  18. I'm not a good judge of NFL talent at the college level, especially at QB. But I agree I never saw him as a Peyton Manning type talent, where you knew he was going to be a legend. I'm just going by the "the experts can't be this wrong about him" and assume he will figure it out. Just really bad luck to be on the Jags. There are a few franchises that I think will just never develop quarterbacks. Jags, Browns, Jets...
  19. Read casually we would give a look at OBJ, but didn't read the article so it was probably shit.
  20. This has been a dream season so far, considering expectations. But I think more than a few of us have quietly questioned the offensive playcalling early in the game. And I think the questions have been largely silent because of the winning, rightfully so. But, it is absolutely a trend that the Giants rely on Saquon much less in the first half. In fact his carries increase with each quarter. And he is pretty close to having double the second half carries compared to first half (61 to 102 respectively). While his receptions are evenly split between halves. (13 to 15, with a slight edge in Yard per catch in the second). Is this a deliberate effort to get the passing game going or save saquon for the second half? He is still finishing with and average of over 20 carries per game, which is what I guess you want to target considering his injury history. Plus 3.5 receptions per game. I mean I understand if that is the plan, but it isn't like we're even really trying to establish the run much until the second half. Jones 1st and 2nd half splits for attempts are 114-106, which is basically a split, but then Breida's splits are 7-16. I don't think Breida has played poorly at all, the stats don't show it but I feel like I see some really solid running when he gets the ball. Sorry for the ramble, just seems week after week they use Saquon sparingly in the first half and the offense can't get into a rhythm until the 2nd half, of course DJ has more yards per attempt, TD's, etc in the 2nd half once Saquon is rolling.
  21. There is just nobody to throw too. I think he was starting to press a little. Seahawks were keeping Saquon in check and their secondary was playing well. I really thought Jones made some really good throws and decisions, maybe I was just paying more attention but he throws had pepper on them. I think this game sold me on going and getting a receiver. The defense is there, the running game is good. DJ just needs someone to throw to.
  22. Toney headed to the chiefs. Not the move I was expecting. Guess he really was just not in the good graces of the current staff
  23. Based on recent trades, the price for good talent is pretty cheap. Hankins for a 7th. Quinn for a 5th. If they can make cap space, it’sa good time to be a buyer.
