  1. yes, but he was bad all 3 times he got called up
  2. i think he means it's not fun watching someone induce groundouts all game
  3. his cousin barry is probably reading this right now...you better believe willie's gonna hear about this thread
  4. and props to bradley. as soon as i saw his name involved in a brawl i said "uh oh" till i finished the sentence
  5. good, i traded felix for oliver perez and yunel escobar before the season started and the more felix gets beat up on the more my trade is justified
  6. i agree w/ x. billy wagner has no business calling out any teammates, putting signs on millege's locker, etc. who does he think he is? just cuz he's a vet he has all this built up credibility? i dont think so. as far as im cocnerned only willie and pedro have the right to be talking this kind of shit. and i guarentee this did NOT light a fire under perez's ass. since when does this guy respond positively to adversity or tough love? we all see how easily he implodes the second something goes wrong whiel he's pitching. he's got amazing stuff but he's got a fragile makeup. and even if he goes out and pitches 7 shutout innings today, how does that prove that it's cuz of wagner? he already has 3 sscoreless outings this year, he's just inconsistent and he always will be--especially if he can't get his shit together in a contract year
  7. i dont see what was so hard about #18--but i've always liked questions like that so maybe i'm just biased. and give maningham a break, there are a lot of dumb people at michigan
  8. he can do whatever he wants as far as im concerned. his career plus the superbowl gives him ton of goodwill as far as im concerned
  9. all it takes is a few bad bounces and key injuries. how many people were calling baltimore a super bowl contender this time last year?
  10. i can see them going 6-10 as much as i can see them winning the superbowl. no supporting evidence specific to the team is required--this is the NFL and anything can happen, that's why so many people bet on it
  11. haha i knew that's what this thread would be about as soon as i saw "hey midas". i disagree w/ them being dead last though, sure they are playing like crap but when they are tied with the rangers and pirates and one game behind the royals and nats i think the 89 win team who just missed a 3rd straight playoff appearance should get the benefit of the doubt. the braves have one more win and they are 15 spots ahead and play in a worse division. blue jays are only 1 win better and are 22nd. same goes for the astros (18), mariners (19), twins (23)--all with only two more wins and all with less wins than the pads last year. im not worried about them, the offense was bad last year too--the difference this year is the bullpen--particularly hoffman. the sooner is he demoted and heath bell becomes the closer, the sooner they get on track. hoffman is responsible for at least 4 losses by himself. and khalil greene has a hr already so i dont know what they are talking about there
  12. whoever fucked up bradley's knee last year and cost the pads a playoff spot is the worst
  13. hey US patriot, you know we won the superbowl last year right? who do you think brought most of those players here? who made the manning trade? who drafted osi when no one knew who he was? etc etc etc
  14. yeah so useless he only built 95% of a superbowl team
  15. Herc

    Yes!

haha no that's not snoop but that was what i thought at first too
  16. seriously, 50/50? way to cover your own ass
  17. we're also middle of the pack w/ strength of schedule--not bad for a superbowl winner. pats actually have the easiest schedule--but their division sucks so that's understandable
  18. big ups to cj wilson. not only pitching twice in one day but picking up saves in both games--im very impressed
  19. schaub's pretty decent IMO, he just gets hurt too much. also, we can add sage rosenfels to this list, when schaub was hurt he'd fill in and andre would still get his numbers
  20. i love andre johnson, that guy straight up produces even if he has a guy like carr throwing to him
