  1. You know I never thought about that...you're correct...too tall for punt returning. But great signing nonetheless.
  2. never fail to crack me up...that's awesome
  3. Yup...it's no risk, high reward move. I like to this gettleman guy...he has me excited with what he's done and what he says. Now if they can pull off a trade with the broncos, I'd be ecstatic.
  4. that's a good point.. kickoff returns are pretty much obsolete...but maybe he can return punts...which doesn't add much....I'm hoping we got him at the right time..with a good offensive minded coach...he can live up to his ability and become a great asset in the passing game. Either way, i like the addition
  5. Yeah..it's a good move...has a lot of talent, just hasn't put it all together yet..as herc said, he will be a t replacement gunner at the very least when they cut Harris. Who knows, maybe we got him at the right time..he's still very young..has the ability to be a great slot guy... possible outside receiver to compliment Beckham...if he gets it all together. Six three too..good height and good speed. This could be a home run if he puts it together...was he a first round pick? I remember he was highly touted out of college
  6. Nick chubb will be available in the later rounds and might be the best bang for the buck running back in the draft...or so I've heard
  7. I thought Pugh was a solid olineman..... not an all pro, but solid enough to start on any team...injury prone was more the problem than ineffectiveness
  8. I wish I knew enough about college sports so I could give some input...but unfortunately college sports are awful and until the NCAA starts paying the kids they exploit and make the schools millions, I I'll never watch college sports. Free tuition isn't enough when half the kids don't graduate and if they do, they get bas in finger painting
  9. There are actually a lot of hidden football references in the books... though I may have missed some, I think wun wun was the only one on the tv show
  10. you think Eli doesn't care about winning? Hes a humble class act type of guy, doesn't go crazy when he is winning super bowls either. I would never doubt his will to win. Strahan says it all the time, Eli is one of the most competitive guys he's played with
  11. If only Campbell was available this year.
  12. Yankees are stacked..from low a to the big league team....they can afford injuries at literally every position, besides catcher, and have a replacement that will be nearly equivalent to the starter
  13. well, that's a definite loophole in my never going to the new stadium stance. I'd gladly go with you and your crew if you're in town. I'm coming to DesMoines in June so maybe you guys can head to NYC on my way back...I have room to sleep three, possibly four comfortably in my apartment....if some don't mind a recliner chair. If it's 400 a night of free place to stay but have to sleep on recliner, I know what I'd choose...but that's your and your crews choice
  14. Jags eagles super bowl. I know 0-16 is as bad as it gets, but would anyone be shocked if the browns contend next year?
  15. Looks like I made this thread a few hours too soon...Yankees singed Niel walker for free
  16. Is he prophetic? By not signing any insurance free agents? Multiple free agents have taken one year deals for peanuts. Is cashman smart for not taking one now? Is he of the mindset that the teams that signed these players won't be in contention and if need be, he can now trade low level prospects, since their on a one year deal, they're only half season rentals, while paying even less in money because of the huge amount of money the player lost in the free agency freeze? Imagine the Yankees getting Jonathan Lucroy to back up Sanchez on July, and moustakas as to sure up third...and Lance Lynn as rotation depth for nothing. Or did he make a mistake by not taking advantage now? Only time will tell, but cashman is as smart and shrewd as a gm as their is in the game...he is the best gm in baseball. So I have to trust cashman the ninja.
  17. Just give Nas season tickets and a travel credential. Problem solved
  18. before NYC became a place of hardly any natives, San Francisco was the only other place I'd consider living. Great city. And there's a ton a disgusting heebs in la so I can buy their delis being good. But pizza? I find that hard to believe. Unless you're talking about vegan pizza where the bread is cauliflower and the cheese tofu Nevermind, I misread fringes post...he said San Francisco had the good pizza. I didn't have pizza when I was there so I can't say..but i believe fringe. There's good food all over San Francisco.
  19. yes! Maybe that's what I was talking about the whole time.
  20. Pizza is overrated these days..most good pizzerias are in the outer boroughs. And they're not as good as they used to be...as the old Italians die, the pizza takes a hit. The Albanians make a lot of pizza now. Joe's is still good, Lombardi's too. Champion is decent for a dollar slice
  21. Also, maybe it isn't a blunt? Black dudes love those cheap flavored cigars..I'm drawing a blank on their name right now..but you all know what I'm talking about. That's his defense and a highly (no pun intended) reasonable one Edit to add Backwoods or blackwood's are the cigars I'm talking about
  22. Do people still use Dutch master and Phillie and white owl?
  23. I'm with pdud..who the fuck cares. But he isn't doing much for the stereotype that black athletes love white girls..who love white girl. "I'm trying to get you to sleep with all of my big dick nigga friends" $500 says she did it This makes me like him even more.. anyone who degrades women is cool with me
