  1. It is clear now that the Giants would like to address LB in FA with Boley coming in on the first day. Hakeem Nicks is a guy that the Giants are reported very high on and this move for Boley would start indicate that.
  2. It would be a very good move and pretty much guarantees the first pick being a WR.
  3. He is 6' 3" 236 lbs. , that is bigger than the last WILL the Giants got in FA.
  4. Well they just announced that the 2009 Salary cap is 172 million giving the Giants an extra 4 million under the cap. That changes who can be signed in FA. I see a LB getting signed, cause they will draft a WR with the first pick.
  5. Most mocks I have read have us going after an OLB, either Cushing (who would be a steal) or English. Keep in mind, we will find out in about two weeks if we get NO's first of second round pick. I think either way the first two pick are at OLB & WR. As far as mocks, quite a few had us picking KP last year and that transpired.
  6. I could see the Giants moving Plax somewhere between the court dates and the draft. much like Shockey a year ago. Articles are starting to come up that he wants to be traded, but his value can only be determined after his legal scenario plays out. I think the Giants would be able to get at least a second rounder for him and that would make the draft more interesting or a Boldin deal much more plausible.
  7. I think OLB will be the first pick, it offers the most value and fills and immediate need.
  8. I am glad, this is essentially one piece of the puzzle answered and he is a cornerstone of the offense.
  9. Plax simply wants to do things on his terms and that is not how life works for most of us. Independence is one thing, but you better be able to weigh your decisions properly or else plan on constant issues. The question is, if Plax does get off lightly, does he get traded and for what?

  11. Steve Smith was the most consistent receiver his whole time at USC as well. Yes, he was overshadowed by Williams and Jarret due to their height in the red zone, but make no mistake, Steve Smith is there when you need him, especially on third down. I still can't get over Plax's lack of communication on and off the field. It is his achilles heel and he is the only thing holding him back.
  12. Damn, I had Flozell Adams on that one! :brooding:
  13. 6-0, wow! I think they have the league title in mind this year.
  14. HOW ABOUT NO PASS RUSH AND NO RECEIVERS! The Jags lack balance on offense, which leads right into the jaws of Spag's D. ST is a wash, you forget that Hixon is our KR. Defense is very good, about a tie, but the Jags do not have a pass rush to speak of.
  15. Did someone say Tim Carter?
  16. The e-gals and the cowgirls seem to bring equal disgust in me?!
  17. Some teams have already done theirs! OTHER TEAMS' CUTS Roosevelt Colvin or John Vaughn anyone?
  18. It's ESPN, what do you want? Here's the counterpoint! NFL.COM
  19. They say it takes a year to get over a knee surgery. I get the feeling this kid is going to get on the roster!
  20. UH Humm! I think his health is the only reason why he has not been able to show it over a stretch of games. When he has been healthy played, he has shown he is capable.
  21. Wilkinson is more than capable at LB, his issue appears to be health.
  22. Kiwi will play both end and DE. Plus, don't forget about Jay Alford playing some end.
  23. I would trade a second and one of our young receivers, maybe London, but not Hixon.
