  1. I let the guy have it! This article is clearly written out of hatred toward NY as a whole. It is clearly deep rooted and has lumped everyone up into a generalization or stereo type. I told him, he should know better and his job won't be there much longer if he continues to spew such nonsense.
  2. I'd pass, the guy can't get seperation at that level of football, then he is going to get lit up in the NFL.
  3. More like WR - Nicks or Britt LB - Sintim or Laurinitis S - Moore or WR - Nicks or Britt S - Chung LB - Freeman
  4. My thoughts exactly. Plax will be suspended by the league either way and there is no #1 on the roster that can replace him, therefore there is no question that the Giants not only will draft a WR in round 1, but they will probably trade up to get Nicks specifically. He is the one player that could help the Giants the most from day one, except for Maclin, but he would require too much in the trade up and signing $ as well.
  5. So the experts on NFL network feel it is a 50/50 on WR or LB. Well, unless the Giants move way up, there is no value at LB at #29. The same cannot be said for WR. Heyward-Bey, Nicks, Britt, and Robisikie represent the second tier of WR after Crabtree and Maclin. None of those guys will be there by pick #45. The Giants will move up if necessary to get Nicks in the first and move up again to get the SAM in the early second, probably Sintim. The Giants would have to give their 1st and third to move up pick #22 or #23 according to the value chart. Then to move up in the Second, to pick #34, pick #45 plus our 4th and the 5th rounders. That would leave the Giants with pick #22 or #23, #34, #61, and the potential for a compesatory third on day 1. Day 2, would be whatever compensatory picks and our 6th & 7th rounders. That would leave the Giants with six picks two in the top 34 which would allow for impact players at the two greatest areas of need.
  6. Sure do, would have been nice to have him right about now.
  7. 1. The Giants will not be trading out of this years' first,, cause they need a WR now, more than a LB. 2. Wynn was only signed due to the injury to Osi
  8. I would say no as I am not convinced about his hands, which make or break a guy, see Tim Carter.
  9. Losing Canty and Tank Johnson will put more pressure on the C-Girl D to stop the run and Ware will not be as productive this year against the pass as result of fewer obvious pass rushing situations.
  10. He would be the best example of best "risk/reward". He could be the next Randy Moss in my opinion, but his college production does worry me and I am not convinced with him being a natural "hands" receiver. That is the reason I feel Nicks would be best for the G-men. He could come in day one and produce much like Boldin did in AZ. I think Nicks would put up close to 1k receiving his first year in this offense.
  11. Please stop displaying your ignorance! If you look at any of the 3-4 DE's, they do not get alot of sacks. Do you think it is a coincidence that 3 of the top 4 sack leaders in the NFL last year were 3-4 LB's?
  12. I am all for it due to the PK limbo that this team has been in for too long.
  13. There is no way the FO uses back to back number ones on the same position, especially S. The defense is pretty much done for this off season, it is clear WR is the best value at the bottom of the 1st. I still think the FO will move up and get hicks as he is their number target in the draft and is the one receiver that is ready to produce from day one. Britt won't be there, he may not even be there by our pick in round one. Robiskie may be there by 2a. Ramses Barden is too much of a project and you can look how long it took Vincent Jackson to develop for an example.
  14. I could see the first couple picks going like this 1. Nicks or Britt 2A. Patrick Chung 3. Marcus Freeman
  15. You will not have much success on the ground without a deep threat. WR in round one, cause you need points to win.
  16. I think may tell why we will not be drafting a LB high this year. Visit My Website
  17. The only guy on the Giants radar that may be available in the 2nd is Robiskie, but Nicks could come in and contribute immediately.
  18. Unfortunately, I get the feeling someone will overpay for him.
  19. The first pick will be a WR and they will trade up if need be.
  20. Having Westbrook and with the emergence of Choice this year, both in the division, this is an excellent pick up.
  21. There are at least 5 or 6 mock that have the Giants getting Cushing, but an equal number getting Hicks.
  22. Yeah, but the only time you are gonna be faster than him is when the dinner bell rings.
  23. I think that WR is exactly where they go, unless a DT slips to them and cannot be signed in FA. WR offers the most value at that spot in the first round and it is will be at the position of greatest need.
  24. It is a good deal for a good LB! Scott got 8 Million a year and Boley played at a Pro Bowl level 2 years ago. Last was a down year because he was not used properly. If you have questions on that, see C Web.
