Don't take JPP off the field, period. Have Osi come in on passing downs and for relief. If he wants to prove he is worth the money he bitched and moaned for he will make use of what playing time he gets.

I think he'll get a Giants great mention, maybe even a ring of honor type of thing but as it stands now his name will come up every now and then in HoF consideration but wont make it past anything more then that.

If he stayed for a few more years, especially if we still had the SB win I think he would be one who would eventually get into the HoF.

I think this is something we are going to see from JPP in this season and maybe the next, coming into the draft his biggest downside was that he only had one year of college football and was incredibly raw in knowing the ins and outs of the game. I think in the next few years though as he gets starting time OVER Osi (that over rated loud mouthed fuck) we will see things like this start to disappear.

I wonder if Eli's inconsistency the first couple of games have been because of the O-line getting into a rhythm? Eli knew he had time and protection in previous seasons because the O-line from year to year was basically untouched. I wonder if in his mind he was more worried about not having that same time to throw the ball so he was forcing stuff more off his back foot, trying to get the ball out. Maybe the coaches sat down with him before the Eagles game and showed him game tape of the pocket and said "Look you DO have time, stop trying to rush throws" I mean Eli is always going to throw off his back foot and over throw and under throw WRs from time to time, that's just what he have come to expect but at the same time now that I think he has settled down with the new O-line you finally see him getting back into that groove of throwing good passes.

Honestly when KP slid all I had echo threw my head was "Phillips out the 2011 season with multiple ligament tears" Great play by KP but learn to knell down.

From what I understand about college football depending on the type of system they run the TE could basically mean he's a WR who always lines up in the TE spot. From all reports in the draft he is was touted as an "H-back" player.

I was pissed with the JPP pick for a day, the aftermath on the forums the day after the draft I recall making a topic about how with the contract situations coming (with Osi and Kiwi) this pick might turn out to be one of JRs best picks as a GM to date. I still didn't expect for JPP to make an impact so quickly, glad the kid is finally turning it on.

One good game doesnt make Eli elite. He played a great game though.

He's not a TE, but the Giants are forcing him into the position. Put him on a team like the Colts or Pats who use H-back type of players and he will probably do something more anyways. But yeah right now in Gillys offense he doesnt belong.

I think the biggest problem with Super Mario isnt his "lack of intellegence" so to speak, plus I think he runs good routes. The biggest problem is he is always dropping passes or bobbling them, I dont see why he has such a hard time always being so open but always seeming to drop the ball. Gotta get him some of that Stick'em

I dont know, but I would think it's common knowledge that the Giants have to do something (big) to fix the ailing offense for the Eagles game.
