  1. Surprised you didnt know.
  2. I wouldn't say Heap is a better receiving threat, the problem with TEs in the Gilly offense is that if you can block, you block if you can catch, you block. Look at Shockey, hell of a receiving threat but as soon as Willy Gilly is in Shockey and all of our TEs numbers go down. We could bring in Heap but we would never see him catch more then two passes a game.
  3. What about guys like Clayton and Thomas? Clayton was once considered an "elite" WR. Thomas could become something as well. Going to be interesting..
  4. We might have an extreme log jam at WR, interesting who will stay and who is released. 13 Barden, Ramses WR 6-6 227 25 3 Cal Poly-S.L.O. 84 Calhoun, Duke WR 6-4 205 23 2 Memphis 83 Clayton, Michael WR 6-4 215 28 8 LSU 85 Hagan, Derek WR 6-2 215 26 5 Arizona State 82 Manningham, Mario WR 5-11 183 25 4 Michigan 88 Nicks, Hakeem WR 6-0 215 23 3 North Carolina 15 Reynaud, Darius WR 5-9 201 26 4 West Virginia 81 Thomas, Devin WR 6-2 218 24 4 Coffeyville CC KS Plus we still have Steve Smith to resign, Jerrigan and now Hixon coming off IR.
  5. Hate to see him go, looks like we are going to have a new Giants squad this coming season with alot of new players stepping up. Always like O'hara, still have his jersey.
  6. Osi 2010 stats. September - October: 7 games.18 Tackles, 9 Sacks, 1 Pass Defended. November - January. 9 games: 30 Tackles, 3.5 Sacks, 1 Pass Defended. The guy went ghost in the last half of the season, imagine if he actually played up to the contract he wants.
  7. Well you cant sign new players without releasing some. It's funny to think that in all the hype of FA you forget that the Giants are going to be releasing some long time vets as well.
  8. http://www.giantsgab.com/2011/07/26/report-osi-umenyiora-to-hold-out/ Goodbye Osi, time for JPP to step up and take your place on the field. Maybe we wont have to watch your late season vanishing acts anymore.
  9. I like the signing of Herzlich. During the "path to the draft" coverage they had a really good story on him about his battle with that form of bone cancer and how he is doing everything he can to get back into football shape. Glad we got the guy.
  10. And you know this how? Last year WITH Cofield our pass rush and D-line play was pretty lack luster outside of the occasional odd game performance.
  11. Because we all know Cofield was one a young 4th round pick rookie in the wings who became what is he. Who would of though...that rookies.....can turn into really good players. Whoa I gotta take a step back, I think I just mind fucked the NFL.
  12. I cant see the Giants resigning Cofield, I think any bridges have been burned plus the investment of two second round DTs. Do I want to see Cofield gone? Honestly no, he's a good all around DT. However I will say if there is one position on the field the Giants can fill it's the D-line. I don't know who they have scouting out the DE/DT position but whoever it is the guys deserves a raise. I'll wait and see how the DT position plays out during the season, for all we know the rotation of Austin/Joseph might become the next John Henderson/Marcus Stroud combo like Jacksonville had.
  13. Wait wait wait wait, People do know this next season (if there is one) will be uncapped right? It wont be until next season that the new CBA (once again, if there is one) will be in effect.
  14. This is why I wanted Ingram in the draft. Bradshaw might be gone and I dont want Tip-Toe Jacobs being our main guy. Hopefully he stays, cause Eli needs a running game.
  15. Yeah I like Sintim but I think he got drafted onto the wrong team. He was an outside rush linebacker in a 3-4 in college and a damn good one at that, I think he finished with the most sacks one or two years. The Giants drafted him to play the SAM position and he was never really cut out for it, if anything we should of just put him on the line as a DE.
  16. This just in Tiki Barber signs with the Kansas City Chiefs.
  17. How do you even compare the two? One is one of the best if not the best DE to play the game. The other will just be remember as a Carolina great.
  18. Good QB who I will always remember for bringing (some) stability to the position for the Giants.
  19. Mendenhall Hillis Williams Stewart Gore Benson I would say are below McCoy. I would say Ray Rice and McCoy are on the same level. Not to mention out of all those players, which ones are on pass first teams? McCoy and maybe Charles.
  20. Kiwi wasnt average at DE, far from it in all honesty. It's just he has had very little playing time behind guys like Tuck and Strahan. I guarantee you the day FA opens up Kiwi is getting starting money somewhere and he will be in the pro-bowl before we know it.
  21. Smith and Boss. Bradshaw is he is cheap, I dont want Jacobs being our only RB.
  22. His first language was french, get off his nuts you ass hole. Just a fluke, I <3 you Seph
