  1. I'm not saying he has had more success then the Giants, however it doesnt excuse the fact that under Reid the Eagles have easily beaten the Giants and kept us out of the playoffs more then once. Sure we have one Superbowl win but due to the Eagles we could of had one maybe two more.
  2. I'm not saying I dont have belief, I bleed blue until the day I die. It's just the past track record has shown Andy Reid knows how to beat the Giants and with the off season moves it just makes the Eagles even more dangerous. All I'm trying to say is that the Giants need to sure up the weak spots, primarily at LB and RB. I think RB is the major concern because if Eli starts to struggle games go bad and quick, so having that reliable running game is what Eli needs.
  3. Yeah because when the division leader goes out and signs nothing but pro bowlers and the top 3 CB in the league while the Giants have signed a punter and a center, everything just looks peachy. Once again the Giants need a running game to beat the Eagles now.
  4. Asante Samuels, Rodgers-Cromartie and now Nnamdi? FFS Eli is going to have some more of those famous 5 INT games. This is why I wanted Ingram in the draft, we have NO running games to bail Eli out.
  5. So this basically means we need to resign Bradshaw or get some sort of running game.
  6. Yeah because we had such success against them in the past. Frankly I would take the their back field over our WRs. Blanket Smith and Nicks and Eli struggles. We need a RB now.
  7. It might not be for certain. The Jets are out for sure, Nnamdi's agent saying that he wont be going to the Jets. However there may be other teams in play, Oakland is reported to be trying to open up cap space and San Diago as well.
  8. It's looking like Nnamdi to the Cowboys.
  9. Is that new rookie contract salary in effect with the new CBA?
  10. Osi has failed to show up for the Giants physical before the start of training camp. http://blogs.nfl.com/2011/07/29/giants-de-umenyiora-fails-to-show-for-physical/?module=HP11_headline_stack Fuck this guy, we resgined Kiwi and have JPP.
  11. Nnamdi Assinwater choice down to Cowboys or Jets. Personally I'd rather see him on the Jets then face him in the same division.
  12. Also RB Sproles to the Saints and LB Beason resigns with Panthers.
  13. Vince Young to the Eagles. One year deal.
  14. They are the Redskins. In all honesty though Haynesworth might actually be whipped into shape by the Patriots, he might not be taken plays off when Billicheck is screaming in his face after he does one of these.
  15. I liked Hedgecock the fact that we just claimed him off waivers from the Rams and in return he helped our running game lead us to the Superbowl. If he has career ending injuries I hope the best for him and hopefully he suffers no life long effects. Time to move on, hopefully we can get someone who can run and catch the ball as well, get another weapon for Eli.
  16. Goodbye Cock pass. What ever will Gilly rely on in 3rd and 2 situations now?
  17. Cutler just lost his best receiver on that team.
  18. Can you name me any of these games he was the best player on the field? Will the Giants miss Cofield? Maybe. It all depends on who we get to replace him. Everyone gets all uppity when we lose the guy but forget to mention that D-line is the best position the Giants draft and have two DTs waiting in the wings. For all we know Austin or Joseph can turn out to be as good if not better then Cofield. It's almost like people forget that the Giants are a professional sports franchise and probably know what they are doing more then any of us. I'll miss Cofield but it's time to move on and we will win games.
  19. Surprised you didnt know.
  20. I wouldn't say Heap is a better receiving threat, the problem with TEs in the Gilly offense is that if you can block, you block if you can catch, you block. Look at Shockey, hell of a receiving threat but as soon as Willy Gilly is in Shockey and all of our TEs numbers go down. We could bring in Heap but we would never see him catch more then two passes a game.
  21. What about guys like Clayton and Thomas? Clayton was once considered an "elite" WR. Thomas could become something as well. Going to be interesting..
