  1. So the Saints can trade up for Ingram but we cant?
  2. Any chance we trade up with GB at 32 and get Ingram? I know, it will never happen
  3. Well with the Eagles who have Jackson and Maclin and the Cowboys with Austin and Dezzy I can see why the Giants made this pick. He's a top 10 player who feel to us at 19. With Ross and TT both in contract years and the unknown FA coming up he's a good value/need pick.
  4. Well this isnt the head scratcher like the JPP pick last year but still would of liked Ingram more. In the end though he was the best player there, top ten pick who fell to us at 19. If he helps us shut down Jackson/Maclin on the Eagles I'll be happy.
  5. Yeah reading this guy is a top ten pick talent, dont know why he fell so far.
  6. Well I mean Prince is a starting CB, from what I read he is NFL ready and shouldn't take much time to adjust. Guess Webster and Prince are the new starting CB tandem. Still think OL would of been a better pick.
  7. So your happy going into a season with the youngest Oline player being Snee at 29 years old? How about the fact that outside of Snee and Sueburt the rest of the offensive line missed time with injuries.
  8. I'm more worried about if he could play Tackle and RB for us.
  9. Hey out O-line is in shambles and we will have no RBs on the rooster, but lets take a corner.
  10. Costanzo and Ingram still gonna be there, wont lie I want Ingram. Wont be disappointed with Costanzo though.
  11. Castonzo and Ingram still falling, should be there at 19. How about the Lions? Suh and Fairly? Fuck.
  12. Osi now has another OT that he can run 25 yards past.
  13. I wont lie, I'm kinda excited to see if we draft Ingram. However OL is more then likely what it's gonna be.
  14. Solder has bust written all over him, I dont see why people have him going in the first.
  15. Well Ingram is the only RB with a first round grade on him, but there are alot of first round OL talent who are going to be in the second rounds. This draft is one of the deepest in recent years for OL and DL and I dont think the Giants need to rush to grab a OT when a guy like Ingram can hold down your backfield for years to come. But either way I wont be disappointed with a OL pick. Shame that there is fuck all for LBs though, very very weak draft for LBs.
  16. I think the Giants will get Costanzo, alot of mock drafts have him there when we pick. I wouldn't mind a Mark Ingram either, with both Bradshaw and Jacobs up for free agency one is going to be let go and I dont want the either being our only back. Should be interesting to see what the Giants do, by all means alot of OL talent will still be there at 19 but at the same time Mark Ingram will/should be as well.
  17. I'm a complete 180, I cant get enough draft coverage. If this is the last of the NFL I'm going to see this year I want to be sure I watch what I can.
  18. I have no problem with Barber, even after he said things about the Giants. He's a broadcaster he's suppose to give his opinion on teams, regardless of the team he previously played for. Most people complain when broadcasters have a bias towards their previous teams but in Barber's case they are complaining that he isnt praising the Giants.
  19. Well it's nice to see Toomer catch himself before the media was able to get a hold of the quote. The only thing I find funny, is that people still think Goodell has anything to do with the CBA talks. He's there as a rep of the NFL but has zero say on either side of the owners or the former players union.
  20. Simple question BB given their track records who would you want in the playoffs as your QB, Peyton or Eli?
  21. And yet you still wonder why the writer says Peyton has the better chance at the Superbowl?
  22. I dont know the Giants are pretty good at getting quality depth at D-line in later rounds. Perfect example is Cofield..he was a 4th round pick.
  23. Really the interceptions and "if" they were Eli's fault has been beaten to death by the board already, in the end interceptions dont help a team regardless of how they are caused and Eli still threw a league leading amount. Also they reason why we didnt make the playoffs has been beaten to death and by now I'm still surprised no one wants to hold Eli accountable for being a part of the reason why we didnt make the playoffs. But in the end this isnt the topic of discussion, the topic is why does the writer rank Peyton ahead of Eli and it's fairly easy to see. End of the year success, Peyton has been to the playoffs every single year of his career besides his rookie season and has taken the Colts furthur into the playoffs multiple times. Where as Eli has only been past the first round of the playoffs once, which in large part was due to his play. Now the real question of value, without Peyton the Colts would of never even come close to the amount of success they have seen in the last 13 years thanks to Peyton. What would the Giants have seen without Eli? Would we still have a third title? No we wouldn't that much is assured but at the same time lets say we had a Phillip Rivers or a Joe Flacco, would we still have seasons of one and done in the playoffs or not even making them? Yes we probably would. It's not a matter of Peyton v Eli but really the simple fact and truth that Peyton is and always will be a much better leader and QB of his team. The fact that Peyton has carried his team to 12 straight playoff seasons without a great O-line or even great RBs backing him up. That's why this writer can make the fact that Eli up to this point has had one very good season and post season, with some good seasons and less then forgettable post seasons mixed in. Seriously I know were all Giant fans but come on the fact that some would ignore simple basic logic baffles me.
  24. Yet I'm pretty sure most of us here would take Peyton over Eli. Peyton before it's all said and done is going to be regarded as one of the best QBs to ever suit up, Eli is going to be remember as one of the best QB to play for the Giants. Although if you do look at last season one of the major downfalls was the fact that Eli put the ball in the other teams hands 25 times, which I dont care what team you have around him you wont make it into the playoffs.
