  1. Eli really wasnt the QB in the super bowl run, it was really Hefty Lefty after lap band surgery.
  2. Why stop there? President Rolle 2014.
  3. Rolle > Belicheck. Seriously we should make Rolle the HC of the team, he is obviously more in touch with the Giants then any other coach in this history of the NFL. Why doesnt anyone else see this?
  4. Isnt Jerome Bettis from Detroit as well? And didn't they play a Superbowl there?
  5. And no one is "running through any walls" to get rid of him either Jacky. What about that dont you get? Rolle has been the only players to speak up and he is the only Giants to do so, might I add the only one year Giants to do so. Yet there have been multiple sources and news paper articles saying that the team is behind Coughlin, yet you're going to take the word of one player over guys like Tuck, Eli, Osi (who has been the most vocal) ect. You still didnt answer my previous question Jack about why you think Rolle obviously knows more about winning then Couhglin. But you will probably just try to divert the question again like you did with this last post and ignore my attempts for you to show any reasoning behind any of your logic. Talking to you is like talking to a common troll (which is what most of this board thinks of you) you never bother to try to explain any reason of your thinking.
  6. Because he has been in a consistently winning team to know how it should be run from experience right? He knows how a winning team should be coached and how it should be run from the FO and down? Man maybe Rolle should be our starting safety and our GM, because obviously as the "team player" he knows more then his team and the Giants front office.
  7. 9/11 Eli's fault, I got the inside scoop.
  8. Because we all know a Defensive Coordinator is the exact same thing as a Head Coach. Ditka was the head Coach of those bears. Buddy was the head coach of the Eagles and made alot of promises of championship titles much like his son Rex and failed to produce.
  9. Lank 1 Lank 2 Lank 3 It's pretty funny as well most of the articles even have Rolle stating “The locker room has never left his side,” echoed safety Antrel Rolle. “I don’t feel like he’s lost control of the locker room in any way. We have to go out there and perform. If we were taking care of our business all of this speculation wouldn’t be a concern.” Link here Link I'ts funny how when the season is under way Rolle is all gun-ho about being a team player and speaking up for the team, now that it's free agency he has turned into Mr. Coaching expert and want's to tell Coughlin how to coach a winning team.
  10. Another question since Mr.Rolle obviously he is an expert on coaching and how to win games with his impressive championship streak with the Cardinals. What has Rex "That's my foot" Ryan accomplished in the league? So far he has been just a fat ass flapping his gums about how better his team is then anyone else. If they loose to the Steelers it will just be another season of him making promises that he couldn't back up, I remember another Ryan like that, used to coach the Eagles and make promises of SBs.
  11. At first when he made the statements telling the fans to not boo I came to his defense, however I can't defend this. When every other player on the team is happy for Coughlin's return and have expressed it and he comes out trying to bad mouth the guy? I'm sorry this isn't Arizona Rolle but we want to win games here in New York and if you want to go back to Wisenehunt and his "less up-tight coaching" then get the fuck out or learn to shut your mouth and be a team guy.
  12. No this sounds about right for a good QB. Peyton Manning has had the same problems all year with injuries to their WR core, O-line and their running game and he still managed to get his team to the playoffs with a much worse defense. Brees had no running game at all plus Colston was in and out with injuries their #1 WR and their defense is even worse then the colts. Rodgers won when he needed to help secure a spot in the playoffs. Brady is throwing to who for WRs? Welker and Branch? Who is their #1 RB again? Woodhead? Their defense was what 25th in the league? Elite QBs find a way to take their team into the post-season regardless of the excuses. Good QBs even though they may have played well throughout the year, will be sitting out come December. Eli is a good QB, inside the top 10 easily. Elite? No he will never be, but he might be great once it's all said and done. Like I said Eli is our guy and I'm glad he is, but there are a few QBs I would gladly take over him.
  13. They don't have to be a sure fire lock at hall of farmer. When I think of an "elite" player I think of someone who while they were playing was one of the best at their position. Obviously some positions i.e OL don't have the "big play" impact as others but are valuable none the less. Talking about QBs in this case I would rate an elite QB someone who regardless of the talent of their team can get things done and always put their team into a position to win. Look at what Rodgers did tonight against the Falcons or what Tom Brady does on a game by game basis. They take their team and not only lead them to the win but are pretty much the reason why they won. One obvious question I usually ask myself is, if so and so players wasnt on this team or in this game would they still have won/lost? Lets look back at the season and say how many games did Eli win for us? I'm not talking about going out there and not throwing a pick or just keeping the game close but I mean legitimately went out there and won the game with his talent. To me Eli isnt elite and he is never going to be, however he is a really good QB who makes plays and puts us in winning positions. He's the best QB the Giants have had to this point in my opinion and when he does leave Big Blue we hopefully have someone there waiting in the wings or else we are headed for a downward spiral. So in my opinion (so this is all this thread is really about) Eli isnt nor will ever be an elite QB but he is what he is and that's a good QB.
  14. Not mine. But Nas makes a point, some here do think that Eli is elite or is heading that way and really who's to say their opinion is wrong?
  15. DE Ayanga Okpokowuruk. Is the only one I'm excited for.
  16. Vikings wont let him go. Though it would be nice to get him. Honestly of the guys on the list I want, Greenway, Woodley, Hali, Peterson, Gocong, ect. I cant see any of them being let go by their team, all of them will have nice paying contracts waiting for them.
  17. I would take our D-line and secondary over any other in the NFL today, sure our LB core is average but that can be addressed. Fewell has under performed this season with the personal he had. He better step up in his second year.
  18. Dear Fewell, I'm glad to hear you might be coming back to coach for a second year but please for the love of god learn to adapt to an opponents game plan and learn when to blitz and when not to blitz. You arguably have the personal to have the best defense in the league one that could rival the Steelers or Bears, instead we have complete blowouts and fourth quarter collapses. Please get your shit together for this next season and put this defense where it needs to be. Sincerely, Some Canadian.
  19. I'm not sure on this but I doubt we will get any sort of compensation for him at all. He was critically injured in a non football related accident and the only way I know of, of a team getting rewarded compensation picks is when they have multiple players leave in FA or retirement.
  20. Well can you ban him then? Atleast for a week or two? Alot of members would still thank you.
  21. Can't you let him abuse his power just once? Alot of members would thank you for it.
  22. Edwards got a pretty nice push off on that jump ball.
  23. Jack does realize that Canty and Cofield were the starters for the season? Bernard didnt even suit up for every game. Plus the fact that Alfrod hasn't started a single game anywhere else since being released and Robbins is in a rotational role with the Rams D-line.
