Yeah, but you're old enough to remember their uniforms before the tiger stripes: remember those helmets? It looked like they got the stencils from Home Depot, next to the mail boxes. see what I mean? Miami has some pretty nasty uniforms, too. Same with the Jets. Always liked the Raiders Uniforms. Saints as well, although a team to go with the uni's would have been nice, too.

No offense, but this isn't a very good hypothetical. When was the last time we had a healthy Peterson and Allen on the field at the same time? 2004? Even then, Allen wasn't 100% back from his injury. Do we get the option of a younger Sam Madison too? I still think he'll wind up being a net plus, but the last few games have been painful to watch. I would have loved to have seen what would have happened if Peterson stayed healthy, and Webster was the other CB, but that's not happening.

Character. A good player with strong character would be much more willing to work within a team concept, and you get something better than the sum of its parts, ala the Patriots.

1) you were expressing regret that Gammons recovered enough to resume his position. You also mentioned that you felt justified for calling him brain damaged. If you want me to hunt down the thread and link it, fine. 2) You stated you were glad Mara was no longer the owner. Since he is no longer the owner because he's dead...do the math. You actually cited this in the thread starter as we if were supposed to be shocked after saying the same thing days earlier: HYPOCRISY. And now you are bashing Eric from BBI for not caring whether TO lives or dies. Not wishing him dead, just not caring either way.
