Who's the kid on the PS? He'll probably be brought up once Lavar is IR'd. It's going to be interesting to see if Emmons starts again, and if he does, where he and Short will be positioned. With Tampa being a one-trick pony (running game with a rookie QB), and the following week Houston, I'd almost be inclined to let Emmons take it easy for a couple extra games; let him get some plays in, but not the bulk. Aren't you glad I'm not the coach?

They lost Williams and Wilson in that safety spot, and were down to the 3rd string. The defensive line was a shambles, the QB was a rookie. The OLine was Pettigout, Whittle, O'Hara, a rookie Snee, and at RT Diehl. They were losing games, but some were close, which was surprising considering some of the defenses they played. They won the last game--that wouldn't have happened if they mailed it in. I'll admit I like Coughlin better than Fassel, but I don't think he's great, either. But you have to admit, the past 3 years were a hell of a lot more fun than most of the previous 10+.

I would draft. Jacobs is going to be very good, but his running style isn't one that results in a long, injury-free career. I'm not to worried about next year, but going forward that might prove to be a problem.
