  1. I'd rather he come in during the offseason as our new OC. He at least has an appreciation for Shockey. If we brought him in as an Offensive consultant we could lose him in the offseason. Course we could just bring him in now and give him the job as OC in everything but title....or can Huffie right away. Yeah, can Huffie and bring in Fassel.
  2. Agreed. Torbor has done well but Short when he was playing was a dominating force on the field. He was leading in tackles and was putting good hits on players. Can't wait to see him back on the field. And of course Osi. It is going to be nice having Fattie Joe out of that DE position. I've seen a lot of plays against our defense end up with a QB rolling out in his direction knowing he can't catch them.
  3. In the same story on the potential mutiny and Coughlin being in trouble with management there was this comment: He has a coordinator (John Hufnagel) who just calls plays but does not have a feel for the game. He does not set things up with his play-calling. He has no scheme in his play-calling. Tom is supposed to be an offensive coach. Tom has to be the head coach in some of these situations and take over the calls. He is not doing that. This is from a team official.....SO WHY HAVN'T YOU CANNED HIS ASS YET?!
  4. "I'm sorry I havn't been helping out opening holes in the running game. And I'm sorry I have been letting too much pressure up the middle. I'm just a poor guy from Rutgers who is trying as hard as I can. I know I am pretty good at helping set up our blocking scheme, but physically I am not up for the job. But I do have a nice smile don't I?"
  5. They better or they are looking at a .500 record, 4 game losing streak, and heading for competition with the Skins for worst record in the division. Even a Garcia led Eagles will do better. The only thing in our favor for the end stretch is we should be getting our injured players back. Unfortunetaly I have been saying that for weeks with players who are questionable. It is time for some of them to step up and play.
  6. He is as bad on kickoffs as Feely, and isn't as willing to go out and make a tackle on returns. He is horrible in clutch situations. Yes I know Feely is too, but like I said Feely is willing to make a tackle AND can be used as a kickoff kicker.
  7. Randoff you epitomize the kind of person my message was directed at. I don't care how bad the team is, I don't care if you think they quit, you never give up on them, because you damn well know in your heart that you want them to not quit. You might have never stepped foot on a field, but even you must know that an athlete is no better than their heart. You think they have no heart? Well you only join them by throwing your "heart" down with them, if you think they are. The fact that you are willing to walk away from this team while calling them out for having no heart is the explemplification of having no heart. How can you expect this team to respond to a game like that when their fans are willing to cast them aside as callously as you?
  8. This wasn't directed at someone like yourself Nas, who will stand behind his team through the good and the bad. There is a clear difference between those like myself who will stand behind the team while criticizing their obvious weaknesses, and those who will abandon them when they falter only to reappear when they play well and proclaim themselves to be true Giants fans.
  9. If this team felt like most of the fans here felt, we wouldn't even show up Sunday and just lose every game left in the season. To be honest it sickens me how quickly fans are ready to abandon their team. Imagine our players showing up Monday for their meetings and saying "You know what guys? We suck. Eli....go back to Louisiana. Tiki? Take the family to the Carib cause we don't need you anymore. Coughlin? Clean out your office, goodbye." Sure there are problems, sure there are a lot of things that are going wrong, and SURE there are a lot of players who need to step up and perform, but there are a lot of people around here who are saying such ridiculous things as "I AM NEVER WATCHING THEM AGAIN!" Well you know what, then don't because no football team in the league deserves the fairweather fans that most of you have shown yourselves to be. Things are great when a team wins, but when they lose you all turn into a bunch of crying babies. And unfortunetaly they don't make pacifiers for man-sized bandwagoneers like yourselves.
  10. Whatever you are smoking pass it my way. Easily nominated for dumbest post of the day, if not the week/month.
  11. I don't understand how a team up 21 points in the 4th quarter can start passing the ball. For all the things Eli did wrong, once again the coaches put him in the position to fail when there was no reason to.
  12. Since we are laying claim to coaching positions, I'll throw myself into the DC competition. I promise not to abandon the blitz like it is the Black Plague in the second half, and I'll find someone else to play DE besides Willy Joe.
  13. I certainly hope that she doesn't have penis envy.
  14. Wow your life must be pretty sad that you have to gloat about enjoying yourself on an internet message board. So tell me, right or left? Do you use any lube?
  15. What in the world is that supposed to mean? What pride did riders of the Titanic have?
  16. Seriously, it is one thing to bitch about a team, point out its obvious faults, and be extremely pissed at how they played, but you never, NEVER abandon your team. Like Gorilla said we might as well call you Plax from now on.
  17. Seriously, what a douchebag. Way to show your true image.
  18. This has been a pretty clean game. 3rd penalty in the 3rd quarter, nice way to keep the game going. Come to think of it, I would usually be eating dinner during halftime. Quick going game.
  19. Adolf is waiting for you. I hope you enjoy loudmouth Austrians with bad moustaches.
  20. Who shouldn't be driving anyway. They are worse than drunks. When was the last time a drunk drove into a street closed off for a STREET FAIR/MARKET and ran over dozens of people?
  21. He and Huffie make a great couple. I mean since they don't spend any time at all during the week working on a gameplan that is unique for the upcoming game, they must have lots of time to give eachother reach-arounds.
  22. I wouldn't say he fucking sucks, he certainly isn't the best, but he is a good player who was with the team before so knows the staff, the coaches, and the scheme (because we all know Lewis never changes).
  23. Any reason why our CBs were 10 yards off those receivers? I understand you don't want to have them burn you for a TD, but 10 or more seems a tad much.
