It is great because that rookie WR isn't going to get any better without getting some playing time. Our WR core is also hurting with the loss of Toomer. Definetaly not a replacement for Toomer, but we will get a chance to see what he can do hopefully. That for me qualifies as great.

Please, a 5 game winning streak accompanied by injuries along the way followed by a 2 game losing streak is hardly being on the verge of collapsing. If they made it through the first three games with many fans and the media seeing the chance of a collapse and then come out of the bye on a 5 game winning streak, I don't think this team can collapse. Besides, most of our injured players will be back for the Cowboys game.

To be honest I am not really concerned about our injury problem. Moss is showing signs of getting onto the field. Short is questionable with his quad and I am hoping it doesn't linger like Moss' did. Madison I am actually glad is out because he keeps getting burned, and McQuarters is doing a better job. Dockery may only be a UDFA but he has shown signs of being a decent CB and even approaching being a solid Nickel back. Osi and Mike should be back 2-3 weeks. The only injury that concerns me is Luke, because in his one start and one coming in mid-game (granted they were cold starts) Whitfield has gotten burned bad by opposing DEs. I hope for this coming game the Oline coach has them practicing Diehl giving Whitfield some help. The way I see it a lot of the teams out there in the playoff hunt that aren't as beat up as the Giants are looking at potentially losing some key players in upcoming games, whereas most of our defenses key players are already injured but are going to be coming back "fresh" and down the stretch towards winning the NFC East and hopefully getting a first round bye. Still have 3 divisional games but 2 are home and the last is in Washington week 17 and I would hope we are a lock for the division by then.

Well we will (hopefully) have our two Pro Bowl DEs back, Short should hopefully be back, and our OC will start finding ways to keep the offense consistent and get the ball to Shockey. And we will be home. And since it is a divisional game the crowd will be rockin (hopefully).

As far as the "He posts too many topics" subject, I used to feel the same way, and I certainly learned to ignore posts that have a smiley, but if you have a problem with it then come up with your own topics to discuss. They will only push his topics down out of view for most people. Otherwise you should respect his opinions even if you disagree or find them ridiculous.

Last time I checked the Giants vs Cowboys record was 1-0 in the Giants favor. Wow, beating up on the Cardinals...really a tough challenge.

No I read the topic title and felt someone had to stop these personnel attacks that do nothing but distract us from discussing football. I am sorry for making a stand against topics that ruin the quality of a board that is trying to attract members. God forbid that we try and discuss football. By the way, Tiki and Jacobs need more carries a game. Between the two they run less a game than Eli, and that is horrific considering his recent performance and their success running the ball.

I'm sorry guys but this place will never be like the GMB board. Honestly who even knows about this place? There are a lot of smart people here who make for good conversation, but GMB? How? The only reason I know about this place is someone had it in their sig over at GMB and was looking for a place to talking Gmen while the GMB was down. Yes I am not going to be back at the GMB till they fix it, but there is a total lack of advertising for this board, so hyping this place as a replacement for the GMB is a bit overboard. For example, NY-FootballGiants.com there are a lot of guys from the GMB board. They have made a home there. And that is only one board.

It isn't like we need to limit his carries to keep his career going. And it doesn't even have to be Tiki, Jacobs should be getting more carries too. When the Steelers went to the SB last year, was it Big Bens arm of the combined running game? Well and a stingy defense that had a LOT of calls go their way. We should be rushing 35 carries a game, 25 Tiki 10 Jacobs. Sadly I doubt I can respond to his comments and expect a response, because I am really curious why they don't run the ball more often.
