  1. I thought it was over 100...it was 8 or 9 91 yds then we got that late hit call which is another 15.
  2. Or was every pass a playaction?
  3. Yeah you guys are wrong about the offtackle call, Jacobs was going up the gut but it was shut off. That was a clear situation that was calling for a play action. Dallas totally bit on Jacobs running.
  4. 1. Coughlin. Go for it on 4th and 1? WHY?! Jacobs is awesome but he isn't a lock for a first. Get the three and take the lead dumbass. Not go for it, not get it, and give Dallas starting position and give them the 3 point lead. Oh by the way the game was won on 3 points..... 2. Time out with 1:45 left in the game. You had TONS of time to burn to plan a play. You had what 12 yards to go? Ok I understand you need a TD to tie....but Romo has been picking apart the secondary all day. Somehow our secondary leaves HUGE holes he was finding. We had the TOs to burn if we needed to stop the clock. Yet for some reason we took a timeout, and left Dallas with a minute to work with. Great clock management. Long story short, Coughlin needs to go.
  5. In other news, the world is round!
  6. Probable 75% chance Questionable 50% chance Doubtful 25% chance Out 0% chance
  7. That is a good idea. I mean it probably wouldn't seem to manly to them, and it would be hilarious to see 53 jacked football players doing a Single-Legged Pigeon together, but some sort of yoga program couldn't hurt.
  8. What the hell is an incurable comma?
  9. The list of players who have been injured one time or another this season is easily much larger than the list of those who haven't been. It is a sad trend that has happened ever since Coughlin arrived.
  10. The week before the game is their going policy. Personally this whole schedule changing thing seems wrong...not that the NFL cares because we will watch the game and if you have tickets you will go, and I can understand their desire to put the best game possible in primetime, but something about it just seems wrong.
  11. Burress should not be making any comments on the quality of play of ANY other player.
  12. The best part is he only went into the locker room because he heard she was asking a lot of the players about his comment. It probably went down like this: Strahan is walking down the hallway and someone comes up and lets him know what she is up to. Strahan enters the lockerroom and doesn't even go to his locker, he just stands there at the back of the media crowd around whoever they are talking to now. He calls her out by name and then does the whole part the Red sea of reporters to see her. I agree the whole "I was just doing my job" thing falls flat for me. Yes, you were doing your job, because your job is to create controversy because controversy sells. I don't even pick up the sports section anymore because it is more of a tabloid than anything else now. Just look at the front page of the sports section in the Star Ledger today.
  13. Didn't catch that one. Good find.
  14. Funny thing down the page from the Giants comment: Question: Why do all New England cheerleaders tilt to the right?
  15. I have been saying this these past couple of weeks, the coaches are putting the players in positions to fail and somehow are totally oblivious to their culpability in what happened.
  16. Strahan totally called out an ESPN reporter yesterday too. Just read it over at NFL.com.
  17. I'm definetaly Banks...oddly enough I could spit and hit his house right now though.
  18. Sadly our entire receiving core needs to go, meaning the players Eli is used to are all gone. I really don't think we could totally revamp our corp through free agency and the draft.
  19. I'm sick of this kind of stuff staying "in house". It is about time that players stepped up and called out those who aren't doing their job. And if it takes public humiliation, public condemnation to get the message across far be it from me, a fan who isn't in the locker room, isn't in the team meetings, to condemn a player for trying to get the message across. I supported Tiki when he called out the coaches after the playoff loss. I supported Shockey when he called out the coaches AND the players for the loss to Seattle. I supported Tiki calling out the coaches for hardly using him against Jax. And I continue to support the players based on their criticism, AND team officials criticism, against the coaching staff and players who underperform.
  20. He has been practicing but so has Moss for a couple weeks now and he hasn't seen the field. Coming out of college his best attributes were his route running and his speed...our WR on the field now couldn't run a fly pattern and stick to the route.
  21. To be honest I have no faith at all in this team so long as Hufnagel is calling the offense and Lewis is calling the second half defense. I trust in the players, but they are put into situations by both of these coaches that they are bound to fail. It is a damn shame too because Tiki is seeing his last season squandered by the total ineptitude of these two coaches, and the stubborness of the head coach to intervene and do something to fix the problem.
  22. Crawl into a dark hole and die traitor.
  23. If two negative topics a day equals a positive one, yes.
  24. I thought it was Hufnagels offense? Not taking away from the rather strong argument about Gilbride screwing the pooch in the second half, but characterizing the offense as Gilbrides...isn't that wrong?
  25. I've been saying the same thing, yet Scipio still makes around 5 topics a day whining like a baby without his pacifier. Be dissapointed with your team, be outraged with them, but don't abandon them like you THINK they are abandoning you.
