  1. He wasn't? He was forced to stay in the pocket almost the entire night. The Saints kept him locked down in that pocket, and without the ability to use his legs to keep the play going and give his receivers time to get open and if need be run to get the first he was forced to make throws he is apparently not comfortable making. Exactly! Just because we all knew it doesn't mean squat. We all know Hufnagel is a moron, yet he is still in. We all know Lewis abandons the blitz in the second half like Hufnagel abandons the run, yet Coughlin does nothing about it. He was exposed to the entire nation.
  2. The Saints exposed him last night, and did exactly what we should have done. He is at his most dangerous when you let him out of the pocket and give his receivers time to get open. In the pocket he is just another average QB. While the Saints secondary HAS to be better than ours, and their DC probably feels more comfortable blitzing, they were sending extra rushers the entire game to keep the pocket around Romo and leave no openings for his to squirt out of. As far as Eli goes, I have seen him these past two games do something Romo-esque. When the pocket is collapsing and he is about to be sacked rather than curl into the fetal position and go down Eli has been the one getting out of the pocket and giving his receivers more time.
  3. OPI is an advantage? I coulda sworn it was a penalty.
  4. 3rd and 6 end of the game we are winning and they call a PASS?!
  5. Oh my god we are winning in the 4th and running the ball?
  6. I wouldn't call it roughing the passer, but he definetaly led with his helmet.
  7. Holy shit Lorenzan is even fatter than I remember.
  8. The Saints needed a complete rebuild with a new coach...oh by the way they are one ass kicking away from being #2 first round bye. We have the talent. We just don't have the coaching staff that is creative enough to use it. Coughlin and Huf I don't even know what dark age they came out of because they both seem obsessed with a pass-first offense when you have a MVP RB and a bruiser and a half of a backup. I love how TC cremes his pants talking about Giant pride, yet he has no clue what Giant pride is. It is a tough defense combined with a bruising running game that wears down an opposing defense. Right now our opponents know this. "They will blitz in the first half, and in the second we can get our points." This teams coaching staff is pathetic. The thing that pisses me off is EVERYONE in the entire world can see it yet the dumbasses standing on the sideline can't.
  9. And we all know Lockfart loves using names based on old people. Ban this SOB now before he starts making this place as bad as the GMB.
  10. What fantasy land do you live in where people are saying it isn't TCs fault?
  11. Deep Blue would know TC is a moron.
  12. I can't be too critical of Tiki, but at the same time I know he is PISSED at the coaching staff for how they are handling the offense. He was expecting Jacobs to get a lot more carries than he is now. He was expecting Jacobs to easily get 10 or more carries a game, giving Jacobs a chance to develop on the field and give him some rest to make him even deadlier down the stretch. As someone who is not happy with how things are being run, it is only natural that he won't feel that burning passion to drive ahead for extra yards, make that extra cut that opens things up, do the little things that have made Tiki so great. He is doing all of these things, don't get me wrong, but I can see a slight decrease in either his effort or his ability as well.
  13. Good to see our taxdollars are being used on something useful.
  14. You are in a position to get points in a game that is tied. If we were up by a TD or even a FG fine go for it, we had some momentum going, but NEVER in such a close game take a chance like that. I'm not saying it lost the game, like you said we outplayed them and our penalties killed us, but you never leave points on the field like that in such a close game, especially when doing so gives the other team a chance to get ahead.
  15. Good at least I am not the only one confused by this abuse of the english language. Wait isn't this game in Carolina? What are you doing down there JGF?

  17. Plax has been a drive killer these past couple of weeks, like you said, and there are plenty of receivers out there who may have less talent, may not make circus catches, and may not always catch the ball, but they at least give it their all on every down. Wayne Chrebet wasn't an all-star athlete, but he was a receiver who would always be where his route dictated he should be. That is what made him such a clutch receiver, because his QB could throw the ball knowing Chrebet, though not looking for the ball, would turn around at the right moment and grab it. Right now Eli doesn't have any receivers except for MAYBE Shockey who he can throw the ball on a timing route, because the fact is our receivers can't run timing routes. That is one of many reasons that Eli can't control that have contributed to his slump of late...which is not to say Eli doesn't have his own problems but laying it all on him isn't right.
  18. Better then the usual "OMG THE SKY IS FALLING ABANDON SHIP I NEED MY TUMS WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!" crap he usually posts.
  19. Guess what we are #6 in the conference and if the season ended now would be playoff bound, so keep your "We aren't alive" crap and shove it where the sun don't shine.
  20. No we are all very well aware of it, but when it is making the national news, hopefully the organization will take their "Wellington Chose Him" glasses off and move on to getting a new HC. Great article on the potential candidates in todays SL. Oh and when they are bringing in candidates no one should start screaming their heads off at the organization for interviewing Tim Lewis, he is just there to meet that ridiculous quota.
  21. http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/9847527 7. For the life of me, I can't understand the Giants' clock management on their last drive. They move to the Dallas 12 with 1:48 and call a timeout? Huh? It was going to be their last series anyway, so why stop the clock? Then they went to a hurry-up ... for what? They left 1:06 on the board, which was more than enough for Dallas to score the go-ahead points. I don't get it. 12. The more I see Brandon Jacobs the more I wonder why the Giants don't use him more. One guy with the Tennessee Titans told me that if he coached the Giants he'd give the ball to Jacobs 30 times "because nobody can stop him." One problem: The Giants also have Tiki Barber, one of the league's top backs. So why not do what New Orleans does with Reggie Bush and Deuce McAllister? Use the two at the same time.
  22. Yes we know that now, but it wasn't known when I posted that.
  23. I like the responses to this post but I am really confused by the wording in the topic/message....maybe it is just me though anyone have an explanation for it?
