My take on that play: The run was designed to go between the guards and because arrington disrupted the play the RB had to take it to the outside where AP was waiting for the tackle. Also if your watch closely the DT had a very good push on the Oline into the backfield which also caused the RB to immediately take it outside. Was it and unbeleviable play by arrington ?? Not really !! He fought off a block which made the RB go even further to the outside where AP was waiting to clean up. Arrington was in on the second tackle. To me it was and overall excellent defensive play by the DT, Arrington and Pierce. The only thing that concerned me was if Arrington was supose to stay home on that play than he wasnt following the play and was free wheeling which was one of his negatives. IF AP is not there from sideline to sideline than the who makes that play if arrington clogged the middle. Clearly the RB had to slow down because AP was in position to directly tackle him head on but if AP wasnt in that position the RB would have picked up speed and would Arrington have been able to catch him from behind? just my .02 cents !

The only reason I mentioned Carter as locked was the contract he signed. I personally dont like Carter. He has great speed but doesnt run great routes except a fly pattern other wise his hands dont impress and of course he is injury prone. I hope we cut him but I thought the contract he signed meant something.

First off he is a talented player with lots of ability good speed but can he get passed the rest of the WR's. Plax, Toomer, Tyree and Carter are givens. Moss should be in the line up where does Taylor fit in? Will the giants carry 6 WR's ? If not it doesnt look good for Taylor unless he beats out Moss.

The answer is to be aggressive. Peyton goes from great to good when he is pressured. thats the only way to beat that team. No secondary can beat peyton if he has time to throw.

TC is not the type of coach that lets players slack. He wouldnt let Robbins slack so its clear that those of us who dont like Joseph are missing something. We all agree that coughlin doesnt fuck around with lazyness and he has proven that. HE doesnt like mistakes and mentally unprepared players (see willie ponder) I like you think for a 1st round choice joseph has not gotten close to such a high pick. One thing that is very clear he wont be able to hide this year!!
