  1. One would think so !!! Just a guess but here ya go: Nix Smith Hixon Tyree Manningham Bardon
  2. agreed. its way too much dough. Eli's contract is gonna happen the following year. Lets see if the Browns move down Edwards a notch.
  3. THe short answer is NO !! Heres why: Eli Manning even though mister clutch has accuracy problems and he needs a big target than can go after the inacurate throws he some times makes. Eli is a bit streaky in that regard. Without that type of receiver D's will load up on the run. If they wanna another Lombardi, that has to happen. Our current group will not cut it. Hixon cant do it, Smith is a slot 3rd down man and Manningham is totally not proven in any regard.
  4. As far as Boldin goes, Reese is not going to even remotely give away his hand. Its not out of the realm of possibility. The Giants have lots of picks and some players that they can part with if the situation is right. It wouldnt suprise me at all if Bolden would become a Giant. Same with B. Edwards.
  5. i want boldin too but thats overboard. Our D is gonna crush QB's this year and they just wont have a lot of time to pass it. Hell I would love boldin but 1 player dont make the entire team. Its gonna get interesting real soon.
  6. Jack hav ya been? Up to no good again? Have the doctors upted your meds?? Listen. lay off the sauce and try to get rest! Seriously its good to see ya alive and kickin! GO GIANTS!!!!
  7. Its Jack ! is'nt that enough to know. Next week he'll say wholesale changes!
  8. you forgot dancing with the stars !
  9. I was hoping that it included the ginzu knives!! Funny stuff P !!!
  10. i agree!! I felt that the refs needed to make sure that it was a fumble beyond a shadow of a doubt. It needed to be reviewed no question. The game ended wrong in my opinion. Warners arm was going foward. I have seen in the past a lot worse called a pass. yes bullshit!!
  11. what can i say joey! its all true. We can only hope that Al Davis takes Killboy to the W-Coast.
  12. Your right you cannot despute the talent the Kurt had. I guess my definition of a system qb doesnt add up to be Warner. I think of a game manager type qb's real good running game , excellent D. They doesnt have to thow too much and when they do its short to intermediate routes. You can plug almost anyone in. Ravens Trent Dilfer comes to mind.
  13. So to take it a step further a QB that is under no real pressure to execute. A Qb that gets rid of the ball quickly who throws to great wide outs with a good running game. Take that same QB with alot less talent and more pressure and he is mediocre. I dont buy that Warner is a system QB in fact with the Giants he didnt know our system that well to begin with and the Giants Oline got a lot better under Eli. I would even go as far to say that with todays current team Warner would have made alot of throws that Eli hasnt made. I love Eli but he is not one of the most accurate passes of our time. I think Warner gets a bad rap because he had bruce and holt and faulk. Warner is much better than a "system Qb" and will make the HOF in my opinion.
  14. To be honest I never understood the system QB thing! Once a QB gets comfortable with his offensive system and accels in it is he a system QB? Can we just plug in anyone in AZ and get the same results? I guess I dont understand what it is. Pardon my ignorance Admiral. Maybe you can help me here.
  15. I think with his numbers he gets in anyway. If he wins this SB he is a lock! comments?
  16. I'm OK with paying Eli. Last years superbowl run was worth the money and since its not coming out of my wallet no big deal. But all kidding aside Eli has a 4th Qtr magic in him and thats worth the big money in the NFL. I dont want great stats I want the win when the teams back is against the wall. Eli long term as a Giant is the right move. Just how much? Let the bean counters fight over it.
  17. I agree! It is what it is. Great WR's come in all sizes. For example steve smith of Carolina is not exactly a towering fixture. Eli may have to come to terms with making sure he is accurate and not just throwing a jump ball! 6'5" is nice but not mandatory in the NFL for sucess. Clayton and Duper (Miami) were 2 that come to mind.

    Crabtree

LOL !! or this one: Oh Ms Crabtree..... you smell better than a brandnew haircut!
  19. That is and excellent point Tempest! and your LB stats are very eye opening. We could also argue that there is no LB in the league that can cover a TE or wide out when the QB has plenty of time which goes back to QB pressure. We could use a very good blitzing LB that is amazing in coverage and who can also stuff the run and will only cost 1M per year!!!
  20. Joe alot of great comments there. The biggest thing that stands out is in spite of Gilbrides ineptness as a OC the Giants still found ways to move the ball. I will be very dissappointed if Gilbride is back. I hope to God AL Davis fuckin offers him a chunk of change and then we get a shot at a real OC. I think when TC was originally putting his staff together there wasnt alot of choices for OC and many didnt want to play for the old man. Now I think the choices would be greatly expanded. I do feel your pain!
