Maybe not but considering he is barely motivated now by being 6 homers behind arguably the greatest hitter of all time and 48 homers behind arguably the most publicized record in sports, I'm not sure what's going to get him going. Maybe a tight pennant race that really requires full skill and he wants that ring. Maybe you are right about Barry. It's just, I can't stand the guy but you are right, he has always given his all on the field.

Still, I doubt the Steelers planned it this way. Agreed, Staley hasn't done anything since arriving with the Steelers.

Sorry guys, my friend (Cowboys fan), who is always biased against Eli and the g-men said without question that was one of Eli's best passes of the year. Obviously, I'm going to take that line with a grain of salt I don't like missing out and would've liked to see it.

Parker wasn't really used as a spark. He was more used as a last resort after Bettis and Staley went down in pre-season.

And especially if we play Carolina later in the year, perhaps during a cold part of the season, you can get some milder weather by going to Carolina also. And hopefully come back home with a win.

Hey guys, I don't think you know this but if we didn't win the Broncos game, that Eli won single handedly against the #2 seed in the AFC, we weren't going to the playoffs. We wouild have been 3-3, going into a crucial divisional game with no momentum. So Eli put us in position to get the division title IMO and tiki took it from there.

Probably after this move, 3.7 under. Don't take my word completely for it though.

It's not an easy catch but when you are talking about long passes, the pass that Eli threw won't get any better then that.

I like Bedard a lot, maybe for the right price, take a shot on him. His hitting is basically set so you don't really have a hitter to offer.

He shouldn't come back for a lot of pay though, no matter how good he would play this season. Once he gets the record, you think he's going to keep trying? Yeah right.

We have NO at home this season. I'd go to Carolina. Not too long a trip, relatively new stadium, re-match of the past season and as far as I know, fans aren't too bad.

It sucks but he will surpass Babe and eventually go on to hit 34 homers.

Why is it that Jr. seems to finish second or third at every Daytona?

All I know and all I really understand is that he got bumped into the wall by Stewart pretty cheaply and I guess for some reason he got flagged for it.

Same exact game for me. Oh shit I'm getting goose bumps as I type. Very rarely am I into a Mets game and we were playing average ball at the time. I remember Floyd hit two previous pitches into the mid deck three feet foul and I remember saying to myself, next pitch, it's over. Surprisingly, he had enoguh patience to look at a ball while I turned off the tv. Saw it was a ball, turned it back on and watched as he blasted one to send me jumping up and down around the house causing all my family members to wake up. We lost the next day though maybe a little more then 12 hours after the game. There are other games that come to mind like our first win of the season (that I didn't even watch) and the home opener but nothing compared to that game IMO.
