  1. he'll be gone as soon as the 'tiki says controversial things about the giants!' type of stories get stale--he has nothing else to lean on (like talent for instance)
  2. i honestly thought you guys had it won. when hoffman went 53 for 54 in 98 the one blown save was a big homerun to alou, im pretty sure he's gotten to hoffman a few other times too. anyway that's two really good series in a row, i think we got one more before the season ends which im sure will be no different. i'd love to see 7 games like this in the nlcs. as for wagner, i mean he's a good closer, but i honestly thought omar should've went after hoffman when it looked like he wasn't going to resign. he was way cheaper and you only had to give him 2 years
  3. i like kendall and i thought he had a legit grievance, but i just can't ever condone a player dogging it--even in the preseason and training camp
  4. he's a whore, plain and simple. he'll do and say anything for money. i wonder how much he'll charge me to take a dump on his face. all the pennies in my ashtray? the difference between large and supersize fries perhaps?

i haven't had cable or internet in 3 days (at library now) so i checked here before espn or anything to find out the score, doesn't look like i'd like to know the details.
  7. not for me. im not a yankee fan

    NO DOUBT

would you have said that before 2006? no one jumped the gun on payton, that's for sure
  9. khalil green's field % and # of errors is equal to reyes and better than jeter's
  10. the yanks sure do. ask the orioles
  11. barking up the wrong tree on this one egg, no one thinks burress is better than TO and half the board hates burress anyway
  12. yeah i wasn't implying he wasn't goign to be good,i remember the hype about him when they made the sheffield trade. i just didn't remember ifhe got hurt ornot. i thought he was a starter too though?
  13. sanchez had tommy john this year right? i haven't heard anything about him in the minors
  14. i wouldn't be shocked if chamberlain is the future closer. his stuff seems more suited for a closer anyway
  15. that whole team is probably juicing like crazy trying to get back to the majors for one last paycheck
  16. no im talking about my money league--im not faring as well as i am in our league
  17. yeah im projected at -250 innings and have some ground to make up in wins and k's so i've been spot starting like crazy everyday. hanrahan had a great start yesterday and got me a win, today im trying my luck with that leo nunez kid in KC.
  18. i know, i mean come on he made his debut tuesday and he's still not available on friday? the same shit happened with phil hughes, i know for a fact i heard about his callup before the rest of my league but he wasn't available till like two days later when everyone else had found out
  19. there's no precedent for it though, they haven't taxed any other balls yet they can't just start with this one
  20. i actually went to pick him up before yesterdays' game cuz i've been following his minor league season but yahoo hadn't added himyet. they haven't added joba chamberlain yet either :brooding:
  21. garza's been nasty, i also like that dude on washington hanrahan
  22. the irs would never get away with that. as long as he receives no money or anything of value off of or in connection to that ball they have no legal grounds to tax him
