  1. barking up the wrong tree on this one egg, no one thinks burress is better than TO and half the board hates burress anyway
  2. yeah i wasn't implying he wasn't goign to be good,i remember the hype about him when they made the sheffield trade. i just didn't remember ifhe got hurt ornot. i thought he was a starter too though?
  3. sanchez had tommy john this year right? i haven't heard anything about him in the minors
  4. i wouldn't be shocked if chamberlain is the future closer. his stuff seems more suited for a closer anyway
  5. that whole team is probably juicing like crazy trying to get back to the majors for one last paycheck
  6. no im talking about my money league--im not faring as well as i am in our league
  7. yeah im projected at -250 innings and have some ground to make up in wins and k's so i've been spot starting like crazy everyday. hanrahan had a great start yesterday and got me a win, today im trying my luck with that leo nunez kid in KC.
  8. i know, i mean come on he made his debut tuesday and he's still not available on friday? the same shit happened with phil hughes, i know for a fact i heard about his callup before the rest of my league but he wasn't available till like two days later when everyone else had found out
  9. there's no precedent for it though, they haven't taxed any other balls yet they can't just start with this one
  10. i actually went to pick him up before yesterdays' game cuz i've been following his minor league season but yahoo hadn't added himyet. they haven't added joba chamberlain yet either :brooding:
  11. garza's been nasty, i also like that dude on washington hanrahan
  12. the irs would never get away with that. as long as he receives no money or anything of value off of or in connection to that ball they have no legal grounds to tax him
  13. how's jimnasium? are his feelings still hurt about the way he left? tell him boohyah is here for him
  14. his last 4 or 5 starts have just been horrible. so tomorrow he leaves and CY comes back. i'd say that's better than any trade we could've made.
  15. i dont expect much from a small market team, but a 5.54 era in the NL is unacceptable. peace out you fucking scrub http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2966580
  16. it's a 4.50 era but it's still a quality start and usually enough to keep your team in the game. considering all you did was give up a 2 month rental i'd say that's a good return--you're not going to get a stud pitcher for gagne, the yanks wouldn't even give up a guy who projects to be no more than a #3
  17. not bad. if the guy does nothing but give you 3 runs in 6 innings for a few years and then leaves via free agency it still turned out to be a great deal
  18. good thing he's paid to catch a football and not raise your kid
  19. if a .230 batting average doesn't do it for you, i dont know what does
  20. bard is kinda like castro--he's way more effective when he's splitting time. and barrett is way too gangsta to play on any team other than sd
