  1. I saw that earlier, but there were people in the store and I couldn't post it yet. There was a blog in the Star Ledger saying that he was thinking too much about what he had to do instead of playing with the same quickness and aggression that he had in his rookie season and Spags was going to bring him back to his rookie self. Spags has me really excited about the NYG defense. Hopefully he and the G-Men don't let me down.
  2. ... Aight... I'll try and figure that out. If I need help I'll get back to ya. Thanx.
  3. Reyes is the man. Hands down. :worshippy:
  4. Honestly the most expensive one I've seen, that wasn't an internet security camera, was $60. The higher priced ones usually have a higher resolution for imaging or are supposed to be something special like a camera that instead of having a stand, it has a clip for the monitor of a laptop. Just look at the resolution of the webcam and make sure that it has a built-in microphone.
  5. Most of the ones that we carry (RS) are the same as far as video quality goes, but there are 1 or 2 Logitech cameras that have a higher resolution still image. I like the Logitech cameras better than any other brand that we carry.
  6. Hey, I'm all for having a co-host. The more venting, the better.
  7. Segment 2: The Vent Room Starring Dragon. Description: Dragon is pissed about something and he's gonna let everyone know about it. Kinda like Peter Griffin's news segment.
  8. I need to get a webcam. I can be the guy who sits back and watches you guys yell at each other about our beloved Giants until one of you says something that pisses me off and I vent for 15 minutes.
  9. Smith made some great catches in that video. Hopefully that translates into success at this level.
  10. C'Mon D. Wright!!!!!!!!!!!! :worshippy:
  11. Nothing against you, Ragin, but I don't know why this came as a surprise to you. ESPN hates the Giants. Always have and always will.
  12. Let's hope that he doesn't have the same luck as the other #31.
  13. The reason I brought up Merriman is because that is who was selected with our pick (The one that US Patriot was asking me to comment on) and because of that everyone (meaning analysts) says that he's the player we gave up for Eli. No one takes into account that we weren't looking at a LB in that draft.
  14. I know that watching Merriman in San Diego makes it seem like it was too much to give up, but you have to question if we were going to draft Merriman. Knowing our FO we would've passed on him for someone else. You can really only make a fair assessment on the trade when Eli hits his prime.
  15. When did Big Ben win a Super Bowl? I coulda sworn that Super Bowls were won by teams and not individual players. The Steelers won the Super Bowl, and if I recall Big Ben posted the WORST QB Rating in Super Bowl history. He was put in a much better situation, with a much better coaching staff, a defense that doesn't blow leads or spoil comebacks, and a helluva lot lower expectations. Also, regardless of the result, (You know there was Defensive PI on the Giants last offensive play) Eli out played Big Ben in their only meeting. Has he become a superstar? Not yet. Is it time to give up on a QB after only 3 full seasons? No.
  16. Cause I don't feel like paying $1000 for a f'n program.
  17. So... uh... WTF HAPPENED TODAY!? How did we end last night so amazingly and then get plastered today?
  18. Hey I'm with you. If nothing else, he stops a gap and gives Gerris Wilkinson another year to develop.
  19. If I remember correctly, Arrington and Short were drafted in the same draft (2000), and they both had injury issues, with Arrington's being worse of course. So maybe in this case it's not so much about the age as it is the health. I dunno... I'm just trying to make sense of this and it's not working.
  20. Now I'm confused cause I just read something that suggested that he was released.
  21. Unwritten rule in the NFL rulebook. Best: Actually my earliest memory. My father screaming "No Good! Giants Win!" when Norwood missed the 47-yarder. After that it has to be the 2000 season up until the Super Bowl. I remember the craziness that was the NFC Championship game. My cousin and uncle (both Dallas fans) came over to "pay their respects" as they said. My sister wanted to know why they didn't have some kind of mercy rule in football cause it was "unfair to allow the Giants to continue to stomp their pride into the ground." That was a great season eventhough it ended badly. Worst: Super Bowl XXXV: Momentum is a bitch. 49ers playoff debacle: That game alone showed me how important John Fox was to the team. TO made us look like shit. That was the day I began to hate him. Vikings playoff debacle: Someone said it before... Whoever caught the go-ahead TD for the Vikings was out of bounds. Aside from that, seeing players on this team fighting each other on the field was sickening.
  22. Short signed a one year contract, so he was a free agent already. Now as far as why he wasn't re-signed? I couldn't begin to tell you. Maybe it's another one of those "Get younger and healthier" moves.
  23. The question is will they penalize Shockey for spinning the ball on the ground? Cause I don't recall him actually spiking the ball. Then again I just got out of the car on a 15 hour ride. I don't really remember anything.
  24. Jarrett is actually one of my favorite college players and I'd love to see him in Giants Blue. My one problem with drafting him aside from the obvious needs on defense) is we have the same style receiver in Plaxico Burress.
