  1. I hate the white and red, but the Red uni has grown on me.
  2. I'm at work. If I break one of these TVs I will be shot... according to my manager.
  3. Wouldn't mind the Helmet change or a different away jersey, but I'm happy with the home unis. That's not to say that I would be against seeing us back in the old unis.
  4. Hopefully Plax will get a fire under his ass and play like the receiver that we're paying him to be. Also... THANK GOD SOMEONE SAID SOMETHING ABOUT HUFNAGLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. I thought that I was the only one that realized that.
  6. Oh Shit! I just heard on Sportscenter that the Giants were going to use a short passing game to get Eli Manning in a rhythm! Damn... it took them this long to figure this out.
  7. His and Luke's, but Luke's was a freak accident more than anything else.
  8. Believe me when I say, Nothing would please me more then for SOMEONE to tell Coughlin and Huffy to STFU. Also Michael Vick just got fined for flipping someone off and pretty much telling them to go fuck themself, do you really want that type of shit happening here? If it happened everyone would be busy calling them immature and a cancer to the team. You're right, Eli is no Phil Simms. He doesn't wear his emotions on his sleeve like other QBs, but before Everyone loved that about his personality, and now that he's in a slump everyone has a different tune.
  9. I'm saying that the greatest QB in Giants history didn't say a damn thing in the meetings either so why are we jumping on Eli for doing the same thing? Seems like a double standard to me. mws44 said it before, "Eli seems like he wants to lead by example. Given his recent play, I doubt that he felt like he was in a position to get on other players on the team." I think that if his play wasn't bad over the last few weeks he probably would've said something. Also what the fuck is wrong with Eli not showing emotion now that we have a losing streak going? Before you guys are like "Yea he doesn't let anything get to him. Eli's the man." and now "He needs to show some emotion and stop being a little kid."
  10. Calm down. Phil Simms has an article about the meeting as well and he said that he also never said a damn thing in the 15+ players-only meetings that he had through his career. Simms Article
  11. This is what happens when you become conservative on offense and pathetic on defense. I can't believe this shit right now. I'm overly pissed off right now. The whole coaching staff needs to be fired, and Burress, Manning and Kiwi all need a savage beating.
  12. That's alright. I don't mind watching them get their rings. It'll make it that much sweeter when we kick their asses. My Bulls did the same thing to the Heat on opening night. We won by over 40 after the ring ceremony. Hopefully the Mets don't follow the Bulls and look like shit for the next few games though.
  13. Maybe it's because we have the Titans next week, but something tells me that this is the last we'll see of bad Giants football. I dunno... maybe it's true or maybe it's misplaced optimism... but I have a feeling that the Giants are gonna do something amazing in the next few weeks. This was a rough last two games but we have our guys coming back soon and I can feel a change in our luck as of late coming on. Now that being said... Hopefully Strahan and Osi will be back at full strength soon and we can formulate some kind of a pass rush. And I am praying that Sam Madison recovers from his injury as soon as possible because it's painful to watch Webster look like a fool on almost every play. We finally started giving Shockey the ball... but it still took forever to do. Come on people... it's not that hard to understand. WTF happened to Tiki and Jacobs tonight? Not nearly enough carries. Tiki was getting shut down but again Jacobs ends up only getting a very small amount of touches. Tiki didn't look himself tonight either. I don't think that the thumb had anything to do with his lack of production in the running game but the dropped passes were another thing. Defensive Pass Interference anyone? Carter and Burress were raped on those plays (you know which ones) and no flags were thrown? Wilford's play was different because his ball wasn't catchable and he was interfering just as much as Webster was, but these were clear cut DPIs and they were ignored. Manning was very erratic tonight just as he's been for a while now. I think that losing a safety valve like Toomer is really starting to take its toll on him. However had the running game gotten going and Shockey been given the ball earlier I think that we have a completely different story. This is all the more reason to GET SHOCKEY INVOLVED FROM THE START OF THE GAME. Can someone please tell Tim Lewis that we still have to cover the middle of the field. His zone schemes suck ass, but then again it's not like we have a shut down corner to rely on. Anyway this has to be fixed immediately. I never thought in a million years I'd say this, but PLEASE GET WELL AND COME BACK SOON LUKE! Eli's scared to death without him and having to give him help is causing our passing game to suffer more than it already is. Alright... now that I've gotten my analysis out of the way... it was a bad loss, but there's absolutely nothing we can do about it now. Time to focus on the Titans and time to focus on getting back to our winning ways. Also... GO BUCS on Thursday!
  14. Moss is listed as questionable for Sunday's game
  15. What the fuck is up with all these injuries?
  16. I think that overly concerned about something that doesn't deserve it. We've been flagged for it once and haven't been flagged for it since... and it's not like they do it on EVERY play. They do it on GREAT defensive plays (with the exception of Kiwi's sack on Carr). Since when is it a problem to celebrate a positive defensive play? Did anyone have an issue with the Mile High Salute or the Dirty Bird a few years back? Both of those were "team exclusive" celebrations so what's the issue with the Giants being Ballers? I think that our team is smart enough to know not to take it to the level of taunting or anything else that could be detrimental.
  17. It was a beautiful fake, but now we gotta step up on defense. It makes no sense that this game is this close.
  18. On the second sack Manning held onto the ball forever. With the exception of Barber's TD the whole 1st half was pathetic and we need to get it together. :brooding:
  19. I would say that I predicted 12-4 as well, but I do that every year.
  20. Bulls 108 Heat 66 Suns 106 Lakers 114 Helluva opening day... at least for me it is.
  21. Not to mention that we have the hardest schedule in the NFL and are about to be 6-2 and the halfway point. Did anyone besides us really think that this was possible? At this rate I'd say that we can end up either 12-4 or 13-3 and fighting for home field advantage in the NFC come playoff time.
  22. I like your optimism, but the Patriots are a team that I'd have to see us beat before I could say that we're better than them.
