Fwiw, I'd be far more concerned if we didn't move the ball against the Jets. It was also really good to see guys stepping up their performances from last week. Engram and Shepard specifically. My one concern (aside from the obvious) what the hell happened to Jerry? Didn't he spend all last off-season working on improving his strength and technique? Didn't it show to a point last year? What was he doing this off-season that he's fallen so far back to sub-mediocrity?

The fact is that if Beckham keeps pace he's gonna break the Giants' all-time TD record midway through the 2018 season. The man deserves to get his money and we'd be foolish not to give it to him.

I'll state this to you the same way I state this to everyone else. Beckham can WANT whatever and all he WANTS. That doesn't mean Reese is going to destroy the roster or the salary cap. He's gonna get the $18-19M a year that he deserves for being the only weapon on offense we've legitimately had for Eli since 2014 and he's gonna deal with it. I give Reese more shit than anyone on this site, but I will never act like the guy doesn't know what he's doing with the cap. And you nor I have no idea what Beckham will be 5 years from now. He'll barely be 29.
