In my ideal world, we draft one if these And and have him and Webb BOTH learn under Eli while we fix the OL and his contract runs out. Then they fight it out for the starting job and whichever is the lesser of the two, we pull a Jimmy G kinda trade for.

This is probably gonna change 1000 times before April but as of now with all the negatives I've been hearing about Rosen such as these multiple concussions with this last one suffered over a month ago forcing him out of the bowl game, as well as questions about his love for the game he's slid out of my top spot. Atm it's looking like: Darnold (as every story about him reminds me of that Eli character we've become accustomed to) Allen (for sheer potential, athleticism, arm talent and love for the game) Rosen (most polished) Mayfield (just cause i wanna see how many penalties we can get between him and Beckham)

Webb =/= Iverson... in any way. And regardless of whether he plays or not this year we're drafting a QB and they're gonna fight it out in training camp. Look... I get it. But what are you learning with the team in this condition? I can't see any kind of evaluation being fair for him.

There seems to be some thought in the media that this was intentional on Reese's part. Apparently (according to these unnamed sources Anita Marks has) he decided to half-ass solidify the OL to force Eli to move on so that he could effectively have his coach (MacAdoo) and his QB, whomever that would be from the draft. I don't believe that's what really happened but considering the debacle we've had the last few years I'm not completely ruling out anything.

This comes from ESPN and solely ESPN. The likes of Michael Kay, Chris Canty, Dipietro (sp), Hahn, Anita Marks and all the other idiots over there blaming Beckham for every mishap that takes place with the Giants organization has garnered a bunch of mindless sheep feeling the same way.

And if that's the case then WE don't need to see Webb at all. The coaching staff has SEEN him in practice... and camp... and minicamp.

My thought process is that you don't and can't half evaluate anyone. Had this team just faltered without the injuries I'd be all for Webb getting starts. But I can't see a fair evaluation with the current state of the team. How will we know if the pass was bad or the WR ran the wrong route? How can we judge a window throw when he's throwing to guys that were on the streets 2 weeks ago? I completely understand and agree with the need to get him on the field but how can we legitimately put this hypothetical game film up against the likes of a Darnold/Rosen/Allen/Mayfield?

Like I said before... Darnold scares me with his recklessness, but for some reason it really works. Im just worried it wont work on Sundays. I'm on the Rosen bandwagon atm because the highlights I've seen of him tell me he can make NFL-window throws already and to me that's a huge plus. Idk much about Mayfield outside of hearing hes amazing but has off the field issues that everyone is worried about. I'm intrigued by Allen if for no other reason than the Mannings seem to be all in on him.

If Beckham and Mayfield could get reigned in by the next management and coaching staff I wouldn't be opposed to this line of thinking at all.

Imo Allen needs work, but he has the tools to be great. He moves around well in the pocket and has the ability to throw on the run. The problem lies in his team is underwhelming and they play in the MWC. The reason the Manning family is significant in this is Eli might actually have some input into who we draft and from what I've heard, Archie, Peyton and Eli all seem to love the kid. Granted, aside from the few highlights I've seen idk much about him cause I couldn't care less about Wyoming football... and im on the Rosen bandwagon atm, but considering the entire family gave this kid their seal of approval there might actually be something there.

Rosen... Darnold is undecided and the Manning family is in love with Josh Allen. We can also trade back if the deal is worth it.
