  1. I don't see how we'd be getting fair return in that scenario.
  2. He'll go to the Eagles on a vet minimum deal and post 1700 yards and 15 TDs.
  3. I heard he said some dumb shit but I haven't seen it yet.
  4. Because all they have are the talking heads at ESPN that will spin everything Beckham does into Nazi levels of horrible... and unfortunately most are too gullible to know when they're being led around like sheep.
  5. I'm sure he will. Especially considering he's already freed up plenty of space for next year when Beckham and Collins will both be UFAs.
  6. The Pats are an anomaly and always will be. How many years does Eli have left? His cap number is ridiculous, but it won't always be there and there are plenty of ways to manipulate and/or deal with the salary cap other than just having a team full of garbage to accommodate a superstar. That's a GM's job.
  7. And to that I'll ask you like I ask everyone that brings up that asinine point... when in the last 5 years have we even been close to a Super Bowl team? Post 2014 the Giants would've been picking in the top 5 every year without Beckham. That's his value. His presence alone has accounted for 16 more wins with him than without all while being a piss poor constructed team relying on the likes of Donnell, Randle, Jernigan, Tye, a gimpy Cruz, Adams, and the rest of the bargain basement players Reese brought in to build a "winner". This isn't basketball where Lebron can take trash to the finals every year. Put Antonio Brown, Julio Jones or hell, Jerry Rice on those teams with the same make up... you think they're winning a Super Bowl?
  8. Little stat I looked up. Since Super Bowl 46 the Giants have a total of 42 wins. 21 wins with Beckham and 21 without. Problem is... 16 of the wins without Beckham came in 2012 and 2013 before he was drafted. Since the 2014 draft the Giants without Beckham have only won 5 games.
  9. The rumors have no truth and Snacks is probably gonna kill Pat Leonard.
  10. As if I needed to feel older than I already do...
  11. 4 years $62m with $35M guaranteed according to Ian Rappaport. Nothing reported about Martin yet.
  12. That could be true, but that 4th pick is still there and unless they plan on trading it I would bet my house they're taking Barkley at #1 and their QB of the future at 4.
  13. U honestly think Cleveland is gonna pass on Barkley now?
  14. I hear you Jim, but I still wouldn't spend higher than a 3rd on him. That injury scared the hell out of me.
  15. Running on borrowed time. Had a horrific knee injury that nearly ended his career before this past season.
  16. Product of the bs NCAA offenses
  17. Yea he will. He's the best LT on the market in a weak year. And when I checked he was already making an average of $12M/year. I doubt he'll accept anything less than that going into free agency in his prime.
  18. From what I heard he regressed, but is still the best on the market. Problem is that he's gonna command a lot of cap space.
  19. Moment got to him. Trying to do way too much.
  20. Pats cost me $300 in 4 minutes. ???
  21. So you're saying a GM's ego worked to the detriment of the organization for years? Where have I heard that before?
  22. Yea... I forgot about the headaches. I was doing it for like 3-4 years before I finally cut them so I guess I got used to it. It's definitely annoying at first.
  23. I used to cornrow my hair in all kinds of designs for a few years. I cut it maybe 9 years ago and I haven't been able to grow it anywhere near as long since then.
  24. 1... cut Apple. Dude cannot be on this team anymore. 2... make it clear to Flowers that his position isn't anywhere near as secure as he thinks it is and that if he want to remain a football player (not just a New York Giant) he need to fall in line. 3... make it clear to Beckham that football and proper football is THE PRIORITY. Not his paycheck, not Instagram, not Beiber, none of that shit. If he needs a mentor... get him one and get him focused on winning. 4... 3 contracts need to be restructured. Eli, Jenkins, and Vernon. 5... TARGET RT, RG, LT in free agency (haven't looked at who's available but I know Solder is gonna cost too much). Also DL Depth. Guys like Cockrell need to return as hebcoukd play the role of a Sam Madison or Deon Grant. 6... ideally I would figure out a way to get Cleveland to trade up to our 2nd pick and get their 4th and one of their 2nd rounders this year and maybe a pick next year. (Remembering the Eli-Rivers trade we got Eli for Rivers, a 1st and a 5th or something. By that logic we could swap picks for similar). And draft the Best QB available. After that with our 2 2nds we could go after 2 talents that slipped out of the 1st or use them to trade back into the 1st if we see someone else we really like. Can't really go into everything as I haven't had a chance to see everyone available... and we haven't even selected a coach yet, but in a perfect world this is what I'd do.
