Yeah, sure he wasn’t great, but he was something. His absence, at least till this front office proves otherwise is going to be crippling if he isn’t replaced with at least someone as good. Plus he just got back, by next year he could be a beast. Considering what the skins paid for him, it isn’t looking to good that he will be easily replaced. Doesn’t appear so far they care much about filling any of the o- line spots.

I’m starting to hate him as a QB. That might not be fair, but he hasn’t even come close to earning that kinda money. it isn’t just the contract. But the contract makes it much worse. Truth is, without the ability to run, he would flat out suck. He is one hit away from being the most expensive bench warmer this league has ever seen

I thought the incentives were on top of his 160 million? From what I understand it very much will be 60 million next year. Im not sure I even agree with franchising Barkley. He’s one hit away from retirement. Sure it’s nice to have him, but at what cost? It’s a risk.

Smh that’s ridiculous. Paying this guy like he is the second coming of Peyton Manning. With huge incentives as well? Like 40 million isn’t incentive enough? Aside from his ability to run, nothing about this guy stands out. Middle of the pack at best. And why? Cause he didn’t have 25 fumbles and 22 interceptions THIS year. I don’t get why any of you guys even want him, let alone are ok with paying him even 30 million let alone 40. I can count on one hand in 4 years how many actual good games he’s played. The guy wasn’t even competitive in our own division. Dallas and Philly fans are laughing their asses off right now. And I don’t blame them.

Personally I’d rather we find some kid to mold into hopefully a great QB. We have the staff to make that possible. One semi decent year and Jones thinks he should be paid like he is the best QB to ever grace the field?? Truth is he mostly sucked his whole career. Even last year he wasn’t much more than a good game manager. Basically didn’t do a lot to lose the games. He had like 2 stand out games, and one was against a crap team. Im not saying he should have beat philly, but he shouldn’t have looked like a bitch either. A great QB finds a way to stay in that game. I’d much rather see him walk. Save that money for defense and for O-line. We all love Eli, but truth is we have never had a great QB. At best we had an average QB with a few great moments. I want the next Rodgers, or Brees, or Peyton or Mahomes. A QB that commands respect. Jones is never going to be that guy.

Soon as I saw what he was asking for. My love for Jones was washed away. This kid had one year that was half way decent, with two great games in one season. 15 million per season tops. Otherwise good luck Mr Jones. He’s been really bad since his first game, and even this year just didn’t do anything to blow it. That isn’t a 40 or 30, or 20 million dollar QB. Philly turned him back into the bumbling idiot he is.

I normally would as well, and I don’t know why I feel this way, but I have zero doubt Philly is about to get punched in the mouth.

Black men represent like 6-7% of the population. I see no reason for them to represented every NFL team as a head coach. Hiring based on skin color is about the most ass backward thing society can do. They have already forced all teams to interview a token black guy, as if that isn’t insulting enough. Lots of teams have hired black coaches. Bet your ass it wasn’t cause they felt obligated. It was because they felt those men were the best men for the job. Like it should be.
