the Mike and the angry puppy was unwatchable..bill Simmons sucks as an on air personality, but he is a great writer and producer of sports product. 30 for 30 has never been the same since he left. Too bad his hbo show was unwatchable..he should have hired someone else to the be on air host...he's terrible

Baseball is almost as good as it was in the 90's and early 2000's. The game has definitely changed, but it's a more excited game imo. I think we are going to start seeing old school relief pitchers..guys that rack up 120+ innings a year. I don't think there will be more than ,5 complete games next year. Starting pitching is becoming less important. It's all about offense, relief pitching and athletic defense.

What 20 year old that didn't go to culinary school knows how to cook a meal for themselves? I'm sure he can boil water and use a microwave. But it's as if he was supposed to be Thomas Keller as a 20 year old college football player

Coaching is another problem here. You need to know your players. If apple is a sensitive guy, you have to treat him differently than others who can take it. Treating all players the same is a bunch of bullshit. Part of being a HC is being a psychologist as well. You have to know what works for each player to get the best out of them and treat them accordingly. If Eli Apple needs a little coddling in order to be the best player he can be, you do it. And his teammates are assholes too..they all play like shit every week. miss assignments, blow routes, miss blocks, miss tackles, don't try hard et cetera. Seems like apple is the easy guy to pick in since he's the youngest and most inexperienced of the secondary..of the whole defense for that matter. This team is just bad..so bad it's completely fallen apart...Geno fucking Smith is our starting qb. Nuff said Apple isn't the problem..it's everyone from top to bottom.. complete dysfunction

Even player personnel..Keep obj and Collins and a few others and build around them and the qb that they draft this year..or if Webb sets the world on fire or at least shows...aw fuck it, doesn't matter.. whoever comes in will pick the qb.. whoever that may be.

There's no argument, tom Brady is the best quarterback ever..and it kind of isn't close. I know relativity to era goes into the debate, but even then, I believe it's still Brady by a landslide. Off topic..but what the hell happened with the MVP voting? Had the writers switched Al and no, votto and judge would have won. Votto had much better numbers than altuve, and judge had almost exactly the same numbers as Stanton.

I'm not saying I like it, just saying it's obvious that the Yankees don't like anyone they've interviewed so far so Beltran has to be the front runner by default. As long as you have a good, experienced bench coach, you can do well with a guy with little to no managing experience. Alex Cora had one year of being a bench coach and he has already won manager of the year for 2018 if you listen to the pundits

I would have loved Mcvay. If only the Giants had this debacle last year. Mcvay would have definitely been the guy..at least should have been. Has giants family ties.. grandfather coached the Giants in a few years of the suck..wasn't his fault, those teams were just awful.. Lombardi wouldn't have had a winning season with those giants teams..was part architect of those great 49er team. He has winning football in his blood. And is doing great things with the Rams.

that's the second round...after the first round, it's bpa no matter who you have at the position. Basically, if your first round pick from the previous year is a bust, you can take that position again in the first round if he is bpa. the only way I wouldn't take bpa in the first round is if we drafted a stud at the position the previous year

Beltran is being interviewed for the manager position. I think it's clear at this point the Yankees have not liked one person they've interviewed and have no clue who their manager will be....stay tuned Right now, I'd say Beltran is the most likely to get the gig...cashman called him.. another telling sign is they allowed Thompson to interview for the Phillies bench job. Beltrans the favorite..and he hasn't interviewed yet. My guess is they hire Beltran as the manager and bring in an experienced manager as the bench coach.

I'm not opposed to taking a QB ... obviously the team didn't think it would be one of the worst teams in football this year so they took Webb last year. The Giants are looking awfully bad at drafting and evaluating. I'm not holding my breath for anything

I'm of the mindset if taking best player available and filling in needs with fa. That said, if the bpa is a te at the Giants spot, you should pick the next best player that isn't going to be blocked by last years emerging stud te.

Ah Bradshaw, he was missed since day one..but I don't think he played one full season after leaving..but man was he a great back.... could do it all..catch, run..short yardage, pass protect like no other RB. Or the Giants could just add a full back along with darkwa and gallman

College QBs are hard to evaluate for the NFL...I'm not a college guy whatsoever, but it seems like these QBs are products are the best schools or teams..best players on their teams. So its hard to say how good they truly are. We might have the best pro qb in Webb for all we know. Peyton Manning's, Eli Manning's, went and goffs are rare first round , first five picks, nfl franchise qbs. I'd be Leary of the big recruit school QBs..their entire teams are stacked.. making the qb look better than they really are. Tennessee with Peyton was all him..same goes for Eli at ole Miss. I don't like usc, Florida, Ohio ect QBs..I'd do pretty good as the qb in those programs..and I've never thrown a football more than 20 yards in my life
