All the "experts" are saying the Giants are going to pick a CB.. Most of you are looking LB / WR in the draft and signing a Vet CB via FA....I would realy love a a possetion type WR.... But, if you had to take a CB in the draft who would it be? Here is a quote from Espn Espn Jan. 9, 2007 20. N.Y. The Jets might be desperate enough to take a gamble. 26. y-New Orleans (10-6) Projected pick: Marcus McCauley, CB, Fresno State The Saints need lots of help on defense, and selecting McCauley would be a step in the right direction. McCauley is raw but he's also a 6-foot-1 cornerback with 4.3-second speed in the 40-yard dash. 27. y-Philadelphia (10-6) Projected pick: +Lawrence Timmons, OLB, Florida State Timmons is unpolished, but he's a big hitter with great speed for his size. 28. y-New England (12-4) Projected pick: Jeff Samardzija, WR, Notre Dame Samardzija could easily slip out of the first round due to his desire to play both baseball (Cubs) and football professionally. The Patriots should be "in the know" thanks to their old buddy Charlie Weis. 29. y-Indianapolis (12-4) Projected pick: Patrick Willis, ILB, Ole Miss The Colts' run defense was abysmal during the regular season, so drafting a one-man wrecking crew like Willis makes a lot of sense with this pick. That whole..."Eli doesnt throw to Shock" is complete BS...Shockey is our leading WR!! He has more catches this year then Plax!!! Get off him for that Saints game..HE HAD A BROKEN FINGER!! You try catching a football with a broken finger. I take Shockey over any TE in the NFL...Why you ask...His attitude! He pumps this team up! He is what I want out of every player on this team....A guy who would fight to the death to win...I havent seen the same passion from a TE since the great Bavaro...Yeah thats right the BEST TE IN THE NFL SINCE BAVARO!!! What Talent? 2 of our best players are IR'ed. And the other (shockey) couldn't walk let alone run? The only talent on the team right now is Plax, Tiki, and Eli. What good are Plax and Eli if they dont have any other Wr's? Oh and teams win the game in the 4th Quarter...You dont win in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd you win in the 4th....Let me show a couple of exaples...Phili game 1...Tenn...get my drift The O put this team in a position to win and thats a FACT.... the D did what it has been doing all year long...Shiting the bed in the 4th and thats a fact !!

Im not the doom sayer type. BUT, If a QB Does NOT have faith in his blind side protection, which it is obvious he didn't once Luke went out, the season is over....Im sorry to say it. But unless Eli has Faith in is blind side protection our season is lost. Not to kill BW but he does give Eli reason for concern. It the Giants can find a way to give Eli confadence in his blind side we will be fine.

Yeah...That sounds about right...We could still pick up a DT after the cuts...But if we had to go with what we have I would be fine with it
