  1. For a moment I thought Cam Brown murdered the Pats returner.
  2. Honest evaluation though, DeVito does keep improving. Needs to get through his reads quicker though.
  3. Nice to see Hodgins get an opportunity. Man we got Tommy Fuckin DeVito, we’re winning out.
  4. Wow, DeVito may not be the future, but he’s better than Mac Jones.
  5. Does it stand to reason that a stat named ‘time to throw’ includes plays in which the ball was not thrown? If you’re using ESPN next gen, non-passes are definitely excluded. all I can conclude from that stat is the Giants probably run a shit ton of play action and roll outs. Which it turns out, they do.
  6. Time to throw is the time from snap to release on passing plays. It tells you more about the scheme and the QB than the quality of the pass protection largely because sacks and scrambles aren’t factored in.
  7. I don’t think we should pull the starter if the starter is part of our plans, because he needs the reps too. but I’d like to see less Xavier McKinney and more of the backups like Belton and Owens.
  8. Missed the game, I was on the road. Apparently I need to miss more games. when it comes to draft position, I don’t think tanking helps. I only believe in getting developmental players more experience after the season goes to shit, but beyond that trying to play as well as possible is the way to improve more so than hoping for draft position.
  9. I’d say that’s Wes Steinberg. But I’ve never heard of Tony Pauline. Pat Leonard would be the Sean Hannity.
  10. Every time I’ve watched the Bills this season I came away saying ‘that is a poorly coached team’. Both sides of the ball though, not just the offense. I don’t think Dorsey’s issues were in the playbook, I think it is on the personality management side of things.
  11. On the bright side, my nine year old just said, ‘I hope when London gets an expansion team they’re called the London Teabags.’
  12. I definitely don't blame Eli for the .500 record. He was the best player on some truly awful teams from 2012 to 2019. I look at that January 2017 game in Green Bay as a perfect illustration of his late career issues.... pass after pass hitting receivers in their hands, in stride... dropped. Average game by the receiving corp that day and the Giants are in it and maybe win it.
  13. He's not good enough to go throwing people under the bus to the media. He's as good as gone. He'll be a good fit in Arizona or some garbage place like that.
  14. yeah, I didn't figure Jones would immediately fall apart on us. But I probably should have just assumed the worst.
  15. and that's why the play the games, because if you told me Neal would come back and hold his own against Crosby, I would have guessed the Giants won this game by multiple scores.
