  1. Because its that time of year where logic is not welcomed and every draft pick is that steal of the draft. That undrafted player goes to the pro bowl and your team was smart enough to bring him in.
  2. I think he did a good job. I actually have a higher opinion of him now that I've seen this. Normally I'm watching him on the sideline and wondering which game is he watching when he makes his play calls.
  3. Maybe during the season if we need him, but not now. Beatty can learn plenty for Diehl, McKenzie and everyone else already on the roster.
  4. It sounds interesting and it is definitely a deal that could get done. Lets see what happens.
  5. Two years ago he was the next great WR for the Giants according to some. Seriously though, the guy is pulling down some good cash and has a college education yet is dumb enough to get mixed up with a 15 yr old?
  6. Why do they always ask the opinion of the person who comes off as the least educated?
  7. Only reason why Mitchell was missed was because Wilkinson was injured. Besides if Mitchell was still here, we wouldn't have Boley.
  8. Well if they re-signed Carney and let go of Tynes we'd be hearing before the end of the 2009 season about how we need a young kicker who has more leg.
  9. Its still too early to make a decision on him just yet. Lets see where the team is by the all star game, the team really starts to wake up in may/june.
  10. Lets see what happens when we have to cut down the roster in September. Last season we went with two QBs and had Woodsen on the practice squad. Now do we put Bomar on the practice squad as well or tie up another precious roster spot on a QB who won't start?
  11. I don't like the Bomar pick at all. Reese has done good so far, but that pick looks like a miss.
  12. Seriously It has collapsed so many times, tragically in our case.
  13. I think it all comes down to how comfortable he is and the players are with him, whether it be in the box or on the field. I'm curious if he stays up there a whole season. I can only think of two occasions where dropping the pass rusher into coverage worked for us. I'd rather they go all out after the QB because its widely accepted by everyone here that our linebackers can't cover. What worked with Spagnuolo might just not work with Sheridan. Remember when John Fox left and Johnnie Lynn pretty much kept the same defense in place...that was a fun season wasn't it. I'm curious to see what Sheridan can do and personally, I like the coordinators on the field too.
  14. I think Hakeem Nicks is going to be our rookie of the year. I see him as an immediate impact player the way that Steve Smith was his first year. I've never been impressed with Sinorice Moss. His production in college was a taste of what was to come with the Giants in the NFL. He never became the punt/kickoff return guy we hoped. Whenever he made it onto the field, he always tried to go backwards and make poeple miss instead of moving forward. Of course it would help if the Giants could actually run a reverse or WR screen effectively. LOL Buzzkill I'm as excited as anyone else about the potential of Ramses Barden. I'm just not going to be the board member who talks about how great he is then piss on him when he doesn't live up to the hype. Every single year there is that one player that everyone swears is the next great player to wear the uniform.
  15. At the college level that little behind the back move would work. At this level, he probably would have gotten stripped because very few receivers have the time and space to complete that trick.
  16. Well that is nice of them to pick Ramses but I think he needs a lot of work. When you can breeze right past the competition the way he did, you pickup bad habits that will be exploited at this level. He'll definitely help out our red zone offense with his size but other than that he will have a tough time out there till he adjusts.
  17. Because what I have to say is more relevant than the quote.
  18. Its because I think Roy Williams is a much better receiver than what his production would indicate from his past season with the Cowboys.
  19. Eagles picked up another WR so it appears they are finally correcting the problem that has plagued them for years, mediocre receivers. Redskins despite having signed Albert Haynesworth, have not improved as dramatically as his salary. That offensive line isn't getting younger. Cowboys should get better with Roy Williams now becoming the focus and Terrell Owens in Buffalo. I'm looking forward to the regular collisions of Brandon Jacobs and Albert Haynesworth.
  20. You forgot the automatic deduction any NY Giants player gets by EA.
  21. Well we can always turn him into tight end.
  22. You see that too huh. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets moved over to MLB in a year or two.
  23. Only makes sense that the people who know the least would complain about this pick. He is absolutely perfect for what we need. The Giants did good by their draftboard and anyone that has an argument feel free to bring it to my attention as I will shut you down.
