  1. I wouldn't give credit to Gruden for building the Raiders that played Dungy in the Super Bowl. Gruden couldn't maintain the team he inherited from Dungy. Gruden just doesn't build super bowl teams, he is however excellent at breaking QBs.
  2. Missed the boat my ass. He is on the motherfucking bus out of the league. He wouldn't even be a trade option if he was close to being a safe bet. Miami took him because they have nothing at wide receiver while the Giants have excellent options at the position. Hakeem Nicks did more in his first season than any other wide receiver the Giants have drafted not named Steve Smith or Ike Hilliard in the last 20 years. I consider him proven beyond a doubt at this point.
  3. I stopped paying attention to kickers in the draft after Mike Nugent. They're all the same to me in the meadowlands: Oh the wind caught it and its going in the other direction now... Tynes falls into that category of good enough to hold on to another season and bad enough to wish you hadn't...every single year. The organization just does not want to waste a draft pick on one.
  4. The position can best be described as, eh. Our tight ends are for block and random passes that lead to yards and touchdowns but shelved soon after.
  5. You know, that is exactly what the Redskins thought when they signed him last year. Well last year worked out sooooo well they want to move him a year later. He's not worth that contract and I'd rather watch the Redskins choke on it for at least another season before outright cutting him. Why do them a favor and pickup their mistake?
  6. I'd rather go for Mike Iupati if McClain is off the board. Kevin Boothe is not the future, Guy Whimper experiment has all but fizzled out. Seubert was hurt last season and isn't getting younger. Pickup Iumpati and you have future starter at guard and maybe even tackle.
  7. Have no doubt they are flying him in this weekend.
  8. The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.
  9. Other players have had it, wouldn't be surprised if players currently playing now have it. Lets not shove his career into the grave just yet.
  10. Jacobs has plenty of good seasons left in him and it would be a mistake to get Spiller if we have to move up to get him and miss out on an opportunity to significantly improving the defense. For years there has been the draft a linebacker in the first round movement among the fans. Now we actually have an opportunity to draft the best linebacker in the draft and make our linebacker unit better than average. Really not impressed with the Rb draft class this year and we can definitely pickup a veteran or a street free agent after the draft to address the position.
  11. LOL wow really, Sinorice Moss. He's the training camp hero. Called it before and after which is why he was tendered.
  12. Wow 4 weeks rest and 48 of working out and about 20 of those hitting each other, talk about some wear and tear on the mind and body.
  13. Yeah that is exactly what they're going to do. They're pretty high on him, I still don't see it. Hopefully this turns out better than Darcy Johnson over Michael Matthews.
  14. Not all backups actually do that either. Carr sure didn't, Feagles does.
  15. Ugh backup quarterbacks... About as useless as any US VP, waste of roster spot until your starter goes down. They shouldn't even take up a roster spot! Its not like he can fill in at another position. They can't tackle, barely run, might be able to catch and definitely can't take a hit.
  16. Well of course you would. After watching last season, clearly we have no wide receivers and we need Brandon Marshall to win more than eight games next season.
  17. I hope he makes the best of the opportunity.
  18. I'm not particularly impressed with this signing, paid more than we should have. If he sits 20 yards down from the line for the next five years, we'll get our money's worth. If he's doing anything else, we're going to be disappointed. If we were just going to overpay at the position they should have never tendered CC Brown and just went after Gibril Wilson. Could have signed him for cheap considering he had as much fun last season as Brown did.
  19. That is really an unfair assessment. He doesn't get burned by a speed rusher once a game and when the guy next to you is banged up, it affects your play. Now when the whole line is screwed, you gotta dig to find someone who played great.
  20. I'd rather keep Beatty at right tackle. Been hearing talk about moving Diehl out of left tackle since he took the job and I think he's done a pretty good job at the position. Curious as to who fill in at LG because I think Seubert is just about done.
