  1. Kevin Dockery deserves that tender more but hey he just did more on the field in 4 years than Sinorice Moss...
  2. Kansas City is actually a pretty good place for him to start. The whole organization has been rebuilt. He's coming off of hip surgery, might not even be interested in the HC position anymore. Take the KC job with people you know very well and who you've coached with in the past 10 years, a defense that you can mold, and low expectations over the next couple of years with some nice draft picks. Its a good place to land.
  3. Well if Gilbride does find a better job elsewhere and the Giants have to replace him, they should promote Jerald Ingram. I think he's done a great job with the running game and he could put some balance back into the offense. I think he has a much better feel for the game tempo and how to utilize our players. No more passes to Hedgecock and hopefull rediscovery of our tight ends in the passing game.
  4. Guess he isn't interviewing for the DC spot. Surprised at this and I really think he shouldn't have been fired. Then again, they probably know better than me.
  5. Your first point could simply be an agent being a good agent. His agent is simply using the Giants as leverage. Very similar to Warren Sap when he became a free agent and ended up in Oakland. Crennel getting interviewed could be the Giants just following the Rooney rule. People were talking about the Giants going after Coughlin in late October early November that year and the Giants wasted no time after the season to bring him onboard. There are quite a few former Giant assistant coaches floating around in the NFL, last time the Giants went to Philly to get a defensive coordinator. I think there is a big risk in bringing in Crennel to coach a 4-3 defense since he's been coaching a 3-4. All the scenarios with bringing in someone to groom for Coughlin's job are definitely funny.
  6. It speaks volumes on how good of a job Gilbride has done when only three board members have a vague clue as to where or who the next offensive coordinator for the Giants could possibly come from or be. Yeah Gilbride has his down right WTF did you just call moments but he is one of the reasons the Giants offense is fun to watch.
  7. I'll say it again, Romeo Crennel isn't coming here. Its hilarious to think he'll come here with the possibility of taking over as head coach down the line. If there is anyone who has a shot at the job who used to be a head coach it would be Dick Jauron.
  8. It won't happen. Crennel was a leading candidate on the message boards...
  9. If it was just about ypc, you might have an argument.
  10. Bad luck for Sheridan, bet he wish he stuck to coaching the linebackers. He'll find work elsewhere. Thought they would just demote him but they're going to stick with Herrmann for the time being.
  11. Gilbride isn't leaving, surprised Davis is still fighting off the urge to just coach the team himself. Can't find anyone to do it or let anyone he can find do it without meddling in every way possible anyway.
  12. To call Crennel to wish him good luck in Kansas City? Crennel isn't coming to NY, its not even on the way to KC.
  13. Bet they give Giunta a shot at DC, though I like Waufle for what he's done with the defensive line. Everyone else on the list above is a pipe dream with the exception of maybe 2 candidates.
  14. A thread only Jack could start.
  15. Fuck a farm animal or house pet if a farm is not nearby. Just like that.
  16. If they threw the ball to people coming out of the backfield more often we'd have that threat. Now every time the Giants do it, looks like a broken play. Jacobs running this season wasn't a problem, it was a failure to adapt to changes at RB.
  17. One of the things that bothers me about his statement to the press was he didn't know how many games they lost. Hell find me a fan who doesn't know that number. He's on the field and is as responsible as every single man on the team. Should post that number in the locker room, maybe that would have lit a fire. Osi wants to stay, he needs to improve his game against the run. Hecan't count how many games they lost but can keep track of how muchtime he spends on the sideline instead of the field? You earn your position, its not handed to you for being a first day pick. He got demoted for a good reason and if he was on the field, the Panthers would have run an extra 50 yards on us.
  18. He's going to get demoted at the very least and fired at worst. Its not because he ruined the defense but because someone has to account for the failures of the defense this season.
  19. xxi is right, the problem hasn't been at fullback its been at tight end. Just not going to find a better available FB.
  20. Well actually we iced the game because of the special teams touchdown and Eli played good enough to win but not having the best game? Running game was fine. We won because we were clicking on all cylinders. Sure they got their passes but the defense took them out of the game in the second half. You can focus on Witten having a good day or the Giants having a great day.
  21. Does it really matter? Besides, most of you are better at throwing the team under the bus than FOX or ESPN has ever been.
  22. Get the big guy the ball and thats what happens
