Lughead
Wow, Crumpler. I guess they are shooting for the number 1 pick next year. I dont understand why they did not try to trade him just up and cut him I still do not understand why you would throw away something and gain nothing. I know Marty Booker was one. You're right, Dolphins cut a bunch of guys including Booker and Trent Green. I just updated the list and fixed that mistake and then hit the back browser by mistake. I'll update tomorrow. Zach Thomas rumored to the Cowboys.
RaginCaucasian
Zach Thomas rumored to the Cowboys. Sounds like a great addition for a defense already lost in coverage.

I'm sure we'll find out he has some genetic condition or something. That's usually why these guys get axed.
Sephiroth
Weren't Rod Coleman and Alge Crumpler Pro Bowlers at one point? Not that I think we should pick 'em up... but if you're the Falcons... why cut your only GOOD players?

Ditto
Do we give Leftwich a shot at backup? Or is he done? Another one! Why are so many down on Lorenzen? If you ask me, there were more than a few games in which Eli threw away that the big guy would have won by just being the average, but consistent qb that he is. More importantly what makes you think Lorenzen would be an average consistent QB? He has never been given the opportunity to show what he is so I'm curious how you are so sure. gateb
Lorenzen's not even second string. Rod Coleman is an animal when he's healthy.

A veteran QB as back up would be a good thing, in fact the Giants are supposed to have that high on the list.

I just don't think Lorenzen is a good #2 guy, and I am certainly not sold on Wright.

He was never given the opportunity to show what he can do, at least not with the regulars. But, even with the second and third teams they threw him out there with, he seemed to hold it together no matter how much he was rushed. PS IMO, draft us some depth. Another qb isn't needed. My opinion from what he has done in the preseason with the second and third teams against second and third team defenses is different than yours. I do not trust putting the ball in his hands and him taking this team anywhere in the postseason.
