  1. Don't want Russ in blue....at all
  2. Josh Jacobs is out there too. And yeah, I don't see the Chiefs for either. I see Chiefs grabbing another RB and WR in the draft and keeping Mahomes protected. If they can grab a DB or pass rusher along the way, they're set
  3. I dunno. The market is kinda flooded and RBs in general aren't being valued league wide. I think he could end up on a deal similar to what Giants were offering, but due to strained relations over a 2 year negotiation and getting tagged initially, he still signs elsewhere.
  4. I still think 3 QBs and a WR go top 4. 5th spot will be either WR or OT. Leaves us in a good spot to trade down of someone wants that 4th QB...or if we stay, we are looking at Odunze/Nabors/Alt/Olu. If we do trade down, I don't wanna go any lower than 15...but even that might be pushing it. Top 10 if you can, top 15 if you must.
  5. Oh...there is no question they're moving on...and he will be on 2024 roster. Whether his replacement comes now, we get a bridge FA, we draft a guy in 2024 or 2025...that is the debate. It's not if, but when. And I don't expect much trade value in a lame duck QB..so that sucks
  6. Wait...he's not gay...is he?
  7. I could see the Giants leaking this to have teams jump them for a 4th QB to go in top 5 so they can get the WR they want.
  8. Maybe the trade up for a QB happens FROM 2nd back into 1st round? I said before...trading from 6 to 3 is too costly for the 3rd best QB in the draft in my opinion. Also...do not want injury prone guy. We got one of those already. I don't care what doctors say. I want a WR/OT with 1st two picks unless we can get a QB without giving up either 2nd this year. We need 2 IOL in free agency...and maybe another in the 3rd. Jones had flashes of great play but got his ass kicked and is now shell shocked and I am not looking to do that to the next guy.
  9. Even though I don't think it's gonna happen, I think XM is worth bringing back. But the more I hear from his side about "respect" and being where he is "wanted" tell me he is looking for money and...well...that wouldn't be my priority if I were Schoen. Make an offer that's middle of the road, not insulting, and let him shop it if he wants.
  10. The cost to move up into top 3 I think is too much. If Harrison goes top 3, maybe you make the jump to 4 for your 3rd QB...but yeah...I am officially in the camp of stay at 6 unless you are getting Harrison. If I were to bet today, 3 QBs and 1 WR go before 6. The other pick will either be. WR or OT. At 6, we could be looking at Nabors or Odunze or 2nd best OT in draft
  11. I might rather take Harrison Jr. if we are trading up... Or just take a RT and try Neal at G. Wouldn't hate getting a QB in 1st if we can somehow trade Jones
  12. Think XM is good enough to make an offer to...but one he will likely shop to other teams. And if he finds no takers and we haven't signed someone else in the interim, I am good with him coming back. That said, I don't see him in blue next year.
  13. If rumor of being 3rd choice is true, it is a little worrisome. But past defenses' performance is a nice spin on it. We shall see.
  14. Not sure how many HC positions are still open, or how far along those that were recently filled are in filling out their staffs. I think he would serve a new HC well as a DC because the new HC could adjust to the job slower knowing the defense is being handled with an experienced guy, but his exit from the Giants may indicate the opposite to other teams. He has a chance to latch on somewhere, but yeah, I am a little surprised there aren't more rumors floating around about him.
  15. Refs did not decide that game, but they sure as shit didn't do Baltimore any favors. Add the two redzone turnovers (the interception was a terrible decision on Lamar) and it was surprising it was only 7 pt spread.
  16. Love that Toney helped the Eagles lose. Love too that KC seems to have moved on from him in this playoff run.
  17. Throw in "gay" and "Jewish" while you're at it...as in "That's gay" or "That's Jewish"
  18. Is it me or does Goff look like Giovanni Ribisi?
  19. As much as I love this loss for Dallas, I will hesitate to talk to much cause well, they hung 40+ on us twice
  20. I think signing Barkley has bigger impact on locker room than anyone realizes. With voidable 4th year, you'd be looking at 10 mil per for cap purposes while having him under contract essentially for 3. Yes, that means dead cap money 4 years from now. Definitely think offensive line is priority number 1 and based on what Barkley was able to do this season given revolving door at offensive line and QB, he could do significantly more if the line is properly addressed. He is the face of the team much like Eli was. Make no mistake, this is not Jones' team...it's Barkley's.
  21. Saw the two 40 yarders by Edwards and was thinking he had excellent vision on both...one of the most underrated qualities of a RB
  22. .the comment that there were some differences still lingering and his willingness to leave for another dc or hc spot is telling. And that it came out within an hour of Daboll saying he expects both DC and OC back raises questions on how well Daboll knows his guys. Not gonna read too much into it other than two guys who didn't or couldn't fully bury the hatchet
  23. First pass on our free agents, I see 7 worth making offers to...but setting a limit and letting them walk if they balk too hard. Barkley - dude deserves an offer. No more than 3 years, 40 mil with a voidable 4th year to extend cap hit if need be. With Breida aging and Gray not exactly setting world on fire, I think it appropriate. McKinney - already talking about making it rain after a 6 win season is annoying, but he is a good SS with some range. He too will be north of 10 mil per by some team. 4 year, 45 mil maybe? Simmons - played well in the role he was put in and hoping next DC can do the same. He is not a 10 mil per kinda guy though. 3 year, 20 mil maybe? Kreiter - a reliable LS is a good one to have. Just wish we could find a backup G who could also LS instead of dedicating a roster spot to a LS only. Vet min candidate with some incentives sprinkled in for workouts and games started. Holmes - vet min + 10% or so. He isn't great, but he isn't a terrible rotational piece if a starter gets dinged for a week. Definitely look at CB free agents for upgrade or and equivalent for less money. Olszewski - bright spot brought in mid year. Certainly should come back on a multi-year deal. Would have been nice to see him at WR at least once or twice, but he earned a ST roster spot for sure. Beavers/Coughlin/Brown - probably Brown out of this group for ST...but whomever comes cheapest here can stay. Literally the other 20 are easily replaceable.
