Absolutely. 2 things the Bears are sucseptable (sp) to. Mis direction and a bruising power back. We do both well. We stick to the run, even when it doesn't work, and we'll win. If we start throwing every first down, we'll be in trouble.

Yeah, but the NFL has adressed it, they said as long as it isn't a team celebratio where all of them is doing it in unison, then it's not a penalty. Carr/Williams were penalized because it was an obvious spoof of the iants and they were attempting to degrade them. TO was penalized because he layed on the ground and used the ball as a prop. 2 things that were said would be penalized prior to the season.

Japan uses a lighter ball? Hmmm, didn't know that. It'll be interesting to see how he adjusts. If he can throw that screw ball type pitch with our ball, I won't be too worried. I read that somewhere, I'm hoping we get him, we've went the safe route the last few years and now it's time to take a chance. Idally, we can get him and Zito and resign Padilla, that way we only have 1 spot to fill with one of our prospects. Ofcourse thats a dream, if we sign the Japanese guy we will be done with pitchers and will concentratre on resigning deRosa and getting a CF. mathews is gone IMO, he'll hit the jackpot and we just can't spend the money when we can get an adequate CF somewhere. We may go after a bat, but with Mike Young's average and Tex's and Blalocks power, i don't think we really need a big bat.

Lets compare the giants and the Bears by position. QB - Giants. Eli is a calm QB that manages the game well and has been cutting down on mistakes. RB - Giants. cmon, Tiki alone is better than whatever the Bears can offer, throw in the J Train and it's not even a valid question. FB - Not sure, Finn is a good pass catcher, and I just don't know much about da Bears FB. WR - Giants - Yeah we'll have Carter as a starter, but Plax is better than Mahamad, Berrian is hurt and at least carter will stretch the field. TE - Giants, no question, especially against a cover 2 and with Amani out. Shockey is gonna be big this game. OL - Can't tell, can't say much bad about our line, but the Bears have a great line too. DL - Giants - I still think we are better without Stra and Osi. Kiwi has been solid and our tackles have been very solid. LB - Bears. It's basically Urlacher vs Antonio and Brian is hurt, but they also have riggs. CB - uhg, I dunno. S - Giants - gibril and Demps is a good duo. ST - Push. They have the better Kicker, we have the better punter.

The man finally has a good idea and contributes something positive to the board and it dissappears?
