  1. I think they passed a little too much with all the wind, seemed like they were getting back to the Giants of the first few games this year, relying on the pass when they should be running, but all in all like you said we avoided the mistakes and got what we needed to win.
  2. Great Win!! Defense seems to look better each week, and even though it's killing my fantasy team, Jacobs is begining to prove he can take a larger role in the offense.
  3. Jacobs is momster. This guy is just running through people.
  4. Bad football on our part, you gotta just fall on fumbles like that and not try and pick them up and run. Luckily it was 4th down
  5. I'm not sure he did, looked like Rice was all over it, but hey I ain't complaining.
  6. Galloway can't catch a cold right now.
  7. WTF was that? Fucked up kick off or squib kick with almost 9 to go in the half?
  8. Yeah he can't keep dropping those, good news is we got it right back and Plax makes another great catch. Fuck, I wish Tiki would have gotten in there.
  9. Nice punt, winning tha battle of field position.
  10. Plax is scary good, he makes a couplre of those acrobatic cathes every week. Was that Kiwi sacking the QB and forcing a funble? Our D has been tight so far.
  11. When i can, unfortunately i missed alot so far due to work or falling asleep before it starts (I work nights0 They were talking about the ratings on mike and Mike this morning and i sent them an email giving my thoughts on it. Basically, i said this: Major League Baseball has so much embraced the Yankees as the face of the sport, and the Redsox as their rival, that anything not New York related is a let down in the WS. A world series with the Redsox and/or Mets would have been successfull because they have a connection to the Yankees and New York. Todays fans want drama and a story line with their baseball, so far this year we have rain and pine tar, not exactly the Sox coming back from 0-3. Out of curiosity I wonder if someone could find the ratings of the Yankees/Tigers series and compare the ratings to the other playoff series. Not saying todays fans aren't real fans, but all year long there is a build up of the Yankees and this year the Mets, and the 2 teams in the WS this year probly weren't even the best teams in their divisions. If baseball wants to promote the game to attract fans they need to promote the cities the teams play in, make a personal connection to the fans and their cities. In football, if you think about it the cities of the teams are a huge deal. You hear Bears, you think Chicago, you hear Sainst, you think New Orleans, you hear Cowboys, you think Dallas. The cities are a big deal to the teams and personal pride of that city is on the line each week. In baseball you basically have New York and Not New York, and baseball has embarsed that.
  12. I listened to the game on an AM radio channel, after about the 2nd or 3rd time Williams horse collared Tiki one of the anniouncers said this. "I can't believe they're not calling that, he's the reason the horse collar rule was made and they're not calling it on him."

  14. We're no longer days away people, we're hours, minutes and seconds away.
  15. I love Tiki, we all do, but the more I think about his retiring after this year the more pissed I get. I understand him wanting to go into broadcasting and do other things, not least of which is protecting his body for his later years, but we are ligitimately on the verge of great things, and now we'll have to replace most of our offense. I'm not saying he should hang on till he's 40 but he could play another 3 years and still retire relativly young, it'll take a miracle for us to find a RB that will come even remotely close to what Tiki has been for this team. Ofcourse I'm not looking for another Tiki, we can't replace him, but just someone who can carry the ball 30 times if needed. I have faith that BJ will step in and do well, but the running, pass catching and blocking that Tiki brings, along with being the cool leader on an offense full of hot heads will be irreplacable.
  16. How about a blue and white one that says Sheep Fucker?
  17. I think i still did pretty well.
  18. I think Nem gives you the opposite of what Salsbury picks if you forget to pick.
